Briefly, I am ACA (Finalist) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and I have more than 8 years accounting and audit experience. More than 4 years in Deloitte & Touché (Big 4 Audit Firms)-Pakistan including One Year audit experience in Deloitte & Touché- Doha (Qatar).

Work Description:

My job responsibilities as Audit Supervisor entailed:

Engagement planning and management to ensure timely execution and reporting
Preparation of audit deliverables;
Review of areas to be audited and identification of risks and controls:
Testing the compliance of existing internal controls:
Identifying the potential to improve operational efficiency:
Ensuring application of International Financial Reporting Standards, International Standards on Auditing, and
Industry-Specific reporting requirements;
Performing review of internal control and risk management procedures identifying weaknesses therein and
Communicating with recommendations to those charged with governance and management on a timely basis;
Assisting the clients in the reporting of financial and accounting information to their foreign group companies
Advise the client on various technical issues relating to IFRS and other statutory requirements

My job responsibilities as Asistant Finance Manager entailed:

Supervision of Accounts department.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets and variance analysis;
Preparation, analysis and review of monthly management accounts;
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Examining, analyzing and implementing company policies and accounting systems.
Preparation of financial analysis and projections.
Finalization of Accounts for audit purposes.
Liaison with taxation authorities and communication of relevant matters.
Monitoring of Fixed Assets schedules detailing additions, disposals, adjustments and depreciation.
Monitoring of Cash Flows, bank Reconciliation Statements, dealing with banks.
Monitoring of Disbursement & Petty cash.
Reviewing various Financial and Accounting Firms such as Payment Authorization, Miscellaneous Reimbursements and Travel Expense Forms.
Liaison with internal & external Auditors.
