• Procurement of construction materials as per requirement and budget available;
• Managed construction activities on schedule as per their start and end dates;
• Supervised the site steel layout and inspect bar size as specified in structural drawings;
• Supervised the concrete mix to achieve desired concrete strength specified in design;
• Monitored concrete pouring and prevented bleeding because of excess vibration;
• Supervised the concrete curing and scheduled the removal of form work.
Muzaffarabad AJK Pakistan
• 3 months internship included site visit where construction of water dam and excavation of 2 tunnels
were happening using 2 different methods (Tunnel boring machine (TBM), blast and excavate);
• My duties were involved understating of different methods of excavation and lining of tunnels,
calculations of number of trucks required for hauling and the cost involved in each truck visit.
40 days internship was on construction of long span examination hall. I didn’t have any direct
responsibilities, but this internship gave me insight into cad drawings and different tests involved in
testing of concrete as well as construction methods and steps involved from mixing of concrete to
curing.
