WORKING AS AREA SALES MANAGER
Manage, develop, coach & motivate the sales force to develop their skill & ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target & KPI are met.
Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward & individual recognition.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting & developing annual sales quotas for regions & territories, projecting expected sales volume for existing & new products.
Assess the strengths & weakness of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
Provide on the ground support for sales team as they generate leads and close new deals.
Directly responsible for Collection and reconciliation from company approved credit customers.
Responsible for taking care of products shelf life as per company policy.
Monitor daily activities of salesmen and follow up on sales progress collection status and accomplishments.
Guide and support salesmen to achieve better results by allocating sales and collection targets by getting commitments from sales team.
Ensure proper implementation of sales campaigns promotional activities and follow up on the promotion plan.
Verify and approve entire sales orders final invoice, GRV entered by salesmen.
Control market goods return (Minimize to the agreed limit).
Daily report problems and market observations to Management.
Control salesmen by checking the route operation report in HHT and follow up.
Establish and maintain good relationship with all the customers.
Generate daily and monthly reports regarding the overall sales achievements and also competitor activities
Targeted a new segment to increase the Brand value by placing our exclusive high-end gift items in the luxurious hotels like The Oberoi Hotel, Kempinski Hotel, and Time Hotels Group.
Collaborated with the team, for distributing available stock to the local Corporate Gifts Suppliers in Dubai & Sharjah driving roughly AED15000 per month in sales.
Trained, managed & coordinated schedules for a team of 3 in order to position products in different segments.
Initiated process of Industry wise product classifications to better attract the clients.
Purchasing samples from local markets and coordinating with our team in China for production time & delivery.
Perform buying duties for the department, including meeting with suppliers and prepare contract negotiations
Adopted new ‘Right ERP Inventory Software’ to manage warehouse stocks and reduce errors.
As my role consists of handling the stock & supply of Planning and scheduling for 28 Merchandisers cum Sales staff working in 20 Hypermarkets. And allocating them to different outlets when and where it’s required.
Assisted the Sales Manager in outperforming the target of AED 15M per annum with continuous monitoring of sales activities and timely stock distribution to Hypermarkets and retail outlets.
Making report of the dead stock and focusing on its movement with better pricing and offers (warehouse sale, discount offers, FOC, etc.)
Providing price list for staff to make tags on products during Promotions and regular sales days.
Arranging documents to acquire permission for sales promotion in retail outlets.
Preparing temporary and permanent badges for sales staff working in Carrefour and LULU.
