1. Develop managers awareness and ensure HSE policies and standards are an integral part
of line management responsibilities and objectives.
2. Assist line management with: Understanding and Implementing the HSE Management
System; monitoring HSE objectives; liaising with local contractors and agencies regarding
HSE; assessing local risks; generating local HSE procedures, work instructions and
checklists; preparing and monitoring HSE plans that define how the HSE Management
System is implemented at the location level; monitoring compliance to policies, standards
and procedures; compliance audits and self-audits.
Advise management on corrective actions required.
3. Assist business line in accordance to monitor HSE implementation
4. Assist the business line to facilitate Hazard Operability Study process prior starting the job
on the well site
5. Participate in risk assessment related to well construction drilling activity
6. Assist in PSSR processes and PHA
6. Coordinate and participate in screening and HSE training of personnel, including
contractors. Keep abreast of new documentation and training material related to HSE and
inform management accordingly.
7. Ensure that HSE documentation is updated and available onsite. Advise management on
the level local HSE compliance with Schlumberger, local and host country regulations.
8. Monitor and follow up on HSE reports and facilitate LPT meetings and HSE audits.
Support line management in investigations of failures and accidents.
9. Maintain a high level of HSE awareness among personnel through communication, training
and promoting involvement in HSE programs.
10. Recommend improvements to the HSE program.
11. Analyze HSE trends for the location.

Job Description :
• Ensure that all HSE Procedures/Policies & Plans are implemented and followed at all levels
within the organization.
• Co-ordinate with client and Management to achieve desired safety standards.
• Investigation of Accident/Incident and Near Miss and suggesting remedial measures to the
Management to prevent recurrence.
• Promoting and monitoring implementation of Saipem Life Saving Rules based on IOGP 2020
Editions.
• Promoting Saipem hand injury prevention campaign Keep Your Hand Safe (KYHS)
• Conduct spot audits on vehicles, equipment and Maintenance within the workplace.
• Hazard analysis & Risk Assessment of site activities and preparation of specific HSE Plan for the
same.
• Planning and conducting of emergency exercise, emergency drills, and evaluate its
effectiveness.
• Monitoring work permits and associated job safety plans.
• Conduct HSE internal training programs.
• Conduct weekly/monthly HSE meetings.
• Conduct monthly inspections of facilities and suggest the corrective action to the
Management.
• Prepare the monthly internal and clients required HSE reports.
• Review the risk assessment periodically and take appropriate control measures and update the
risk register.
• Identify the significant environmental aspect and impacts and take the appropriate control
measures.
• Coordinate with other departments for the effective implementation of HSE Management
system.
• Review and Update the HSE Document by involving all related personal within the
organization.

all levels within the organization
• Co-ordinate with client and Management to achieve desired safety standards
• Promoting and monitoring implementation of Total Safety Golden Rules
• Handling work permit utilization of Radioactive material
• Handling Radiography Activity Work Permit within the workplace
• Hazard analysis & Risk Assessment of site activities and preparation of specific Radiation Safety
Plan for the same.
• Calculating safe distance and thickness shielding,
• Maintenance, repairing, troubleshooting and calibrate radiation measurement equipment
• Monitoring radiography activity
• Conduct weekly/monthly HSE meetings
