• Working as Manager Sourcing and Marketing for Denim Garments since Last 9 years in this company, specialized in Denim Garments.


• Develop relevant styles and present collections to customer worldwide.

• Ensure that samples provided to clients are according to their requirements, specs, timelines and budgets.

• Research market trends to create innovative washes/styles and retail developments for customer.

• Have capability to choose the fabric for appropriate styles according to the budget.

• Ensure quality control between internal factories to produce the correct product according to client standard.

• Responsible for product development process and supplier selection / sourcing decision.

• Communicating directly with the customer.

• Explaining the quality level of the brand to the produces to ensure level of quality standards are both followed and understood.

• Support the business strategy by developing the new supplier, design, style; lead the sourcing and marketing dept

• To source the new supplier and meet pricing, margin, quality and delivery strategies.

• Build partnerships with supplier and buyers to ensure relation of direction is in line with Avenue direction and goals.

• Co-ordinate and follow up with merchandiser for fabrication, accessories and day to day work.

• Try to find out weak point (if any) during production to avoid any mess-up.

• Check the production line (stitching) if production is going smoothly or need to increase machine in the operation.

• Develop denim washes following current trends, source, select denim fabrics, approve strike offs.

• Interact with buyers and attend abroad seasonal meeting for presenting and developing new collection.

• Served as a G.M. Merchandising Division-I at Synergies Sourcing Bangladesh Ltd., where my responsibilities are :

• Conduct factory evaluation on behalf of buyer.

• Source the new supplier/factories to suit different buyer requirements.

• Co-ordinate with the internal departments such as Quality Assurance and Commercial to ensure the smooth running of the respective orders.

• Follow up with supplier for opening the back-to-back L/C (as in Bangladesh, supplier can not import the yarn, fabric and accessories without opening back to back L/C).

• Give the lab dips approval, dye lots approval as per the client standard.

• Maintain a good communication pattern and build up personal trust between the buyers and our selves.

• Monitor supplier performance.

• Co-ordinate with shipper /forwarder and ensure that goods meet the vessel schedule.

• Check and ensure that all record are maintained and update, and ensure that all orders details are noted.

• Follow up with commercial department for commercial documents, i.e. packing list, GSP, Export License, BL to dispatch to the client to release the goods.

• Have sound knowledge about knitted and woven fabric i.e. S/J, Pique, Lycost pique, 1x1 rib, drop needle, interlock, flat back rib, S/J lycra, 60/40 fleece, micro fleece, French terry. In woven, denim, cross hatch denim, ring denim, twill, rib stop, canvas, sheeting, stretch satin, poplin, TC, etc, etc. Also have knowledge about the yarn, which use for making the sweaters i.e. Acrylic, cotton like acrylic, cotton, wool, and merino wool.

• Have knowledge about the washing i.e. stone washed, enzyme wash, enzyme stone washed, silicon washed, acid washed, dirty washed, sand blasting, over dyed and tint tint.
