Roles & Responsibilities
Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take off for all Mechanical items (HVAC &Plumbing) including all Mechanical Equipment’s (AHU, FAHU, FCU, Chillers, Pumps etc.).
Verifying and identifying potential Vendors and submission of MTS based on Technical Comparative.
Follow up for Issuing LPO/ Contracts and expedite timely deliveries. Continues Follow up with Vendors, checking the Performance Rating and Management. Monitoring cost aspects of the project and taking action to avoid cost overruns.
Study of Design Drawings and preparation of Shop drawing.
Carrying out measure calculations including ESP calculations for FCU, AHUs, Fans etc. and Pump head calculations for Chilled water pumps and Domestic water supply and sewerage pumps.
Monitoring Mechanical Installation (HVAC & Plumbing) based on Design & Layout Prepared. Planning & controlling the Manpower, Work progress and Material based on the Overall Project program/schedule
Ensuring Progress of work Execution on site utilizing Clause & Program as well as look-ahead programs.Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.
Involving / responsibility for the production, implementation of necessary quality procedures, method statements for the works to be carried out/ undertaken inclusive of site survey / investigation tasks.
Requests for Information (RFI) as well as the Checking and verification of the response received and resubmission of same as necessary.
Ensuring safe working procedures are followed on site in conjunction with the Company HSE Plan and OHSE requirements Perform duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
