I am a registered professional engineer (CIVIL/33650) and an accomplished structural designer with a diversified portfolio of over 300 successful projects. I have designed many high-rise buildings and performed structural health assessment and retrofitting of existing structures at Dr. Qaisar Ali Associates (https://drqaisaraliassociates.com).
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of finite element models of
structures using ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE
• Structural design, vetting & retrofitting of
Reinforced Concrete Buildings and Steel
Trusses
• Structural analysis and design of bridges
• Supervision of draftsmen in preparation of
structural drawings
• Site visits and meetings with clients and
architects regarding various aspects of design
projects
As CEO of Prime Design Consultant (PEC REG # CONSULT/2395, https://primedesignconsultant.com), I have completed Architectural, structural and MEP design of buildings and carried out structural design vetting, Structural health assessment, and retrofitting of existing structures. Moreover, I meet with clients and Architects in the conceptual planning phase of Projects to avoid clashes at the later stages and select favorable configurations which perform well during earthquakes. i possess proficiency in a range of engineering software, including Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, as well as CSI packages like ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE. Moreover, I am skilled in using Seismostruct and CAE ABAQUS.
I have completed my MSc research on modeling infill walls in FE software Etabs under the supervision of Dr. Qaisar Ali and implemented practically these models in different projects of the consultancy.
