Duties and Responsibilities: Making calculation and designs and plans concerning apparatuses and plant components for capital investment (now plant equipment) projects, and improve existing processes. Responsible for Erection, Fabrication & Installation of piping & plant equipments. Studies and layout of equipments and piping, making sure that it is economic safe, operable and easily maintained.Keeping current man-hour schedule and records of man-hours worked.Checking Designers’ and Draftsman's designs and details for dimensional accuracy and conformity with specifications, P & I D’s, Vendors’ drawings’ etc.Selection of standard materials for purchase.Elaborate erection and acceptance instructions.
Screening of documents, cost comparison and planning. Send request for modification of specific equipment.
Give advice to the concerned departments engaged in designing.
Supervision of Installation and Erection works.
Verification of contractor’s bills.
Supervision of miscellaneous modifications of piping and steel structural works of plant.
• Though I have erection and installation to many equipment and machinery but I erected and installed a New Drying & Crystallization Plant at Gatron (Inds.) Ltd., it’s totally Designed, Erected and Installed by me is indeed par-excellent one, as it is for a gigantic Project,
• I have assisted in installation & erection of Pakistan's first Bottle Grading Chips (BGC) Plant erected in Gatron (Inds) Ltd, Baluchistan, Also working there as Project Engineer.
• Coal Fired Heating System for HTM Furnace (Piping Designing & BOQ)
• Turbine’s Tubes (Nos. 1245) Changing
• Hot Water Heat Recovery System for Gas Generators at Power House, (Piping designing & Supervision of Fabrication & erection works)
• Gas gathering System for Turbine (Piping designing & BOQ)
