  • My current job since January 2010

Responsible for the creation and implementation of L&D programs to develop and enhance employees’ knowledge,
skills and competencies required to achieve the business objectives of STRATA. Additionally, responsible for
supervising STRATA training center and the relationship with external training providers. Also I am responsible for
handling all employee relations services for STRATA employees and contract staff by establishing services standards,
monitoring the delivery of administrative services and drive company-wide HR employee engagement initiatives to
ensure a highly motivated workforce and enhance employee retention.
* Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to
understand and implement policies and procedures;
* Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts,
checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;
* Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
* Responsible to support the development of annual training needs analysis as well as learning plans to develop a
comprehensive range of learning & development interventions to achieve business objectives and satisfy the
departments demand.
* Assess employees’ communication and all necessary training, which is required and relevant to their CDP.
* Control and supervise all Strata trainees at Strata and UAEU.
* Contribute in preparing training plans based on training needs analysis and business constraints, etc.
* Compile all the training needs and prepare organization-wide training summary.
* Discuss training plan with Technical Training Function in order to design training programs and calendar.
* Assess the training needs for all departments on the basis of performance assessment, employees’ career path,
business requirements global/market initiatives and ensure that the training requirements are in line with
STRATA.
* Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
* Develop an efficient talent management framework for STRATA, including succession planning, career
development, and competence development and performance management for an efficient career management
plan.
* Ensure that training and competency development requirements for the potential successors are identified and
delivered.
* Work closely with management to implement the talent management process across the different business
functions.
* Extract data and information from performance appraisal reports for learning & development needs.
* Collaborate with HR Business Partner to understand the talent requirements of the businesses.
* Collaborate with external verifier to assess STRATA’s leadership development needs and address their gaps.
* Prepare training plans based on training needs analysis and business constraints, etc. Compile all the training needs
and prepare organization-wide training summary.
* Discuss training plan with Technical Training Function in order to design training programs and calendar.
* Assist the L&D Manager to contact specialized training service providers and institutions in bringing external
instructors for training purposes, shortlist partners and finalize commercials based on different training needs
* Develop annual training budget and ensure accurate distribution of the budget amongst various departments
based on the proposed training plan.
* Track the Corporate University expenses and ensure they are within the budget.
