-Organize, supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on day- to day basis.
-Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics for hotel guests.
-Prepare duty rosters and supervise the discipline and conduct of her staff.
-Ensure proper communication within the department by conducting regular meeting with the staff.
-Recruit new employees and train them for the housekeeping jobs.
-Counsel and motivate employees on various duties.
-Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for cleaning and develop new procedures to increase efficiency of labor and product use.
-Search and test new techniques and products in the market.
-Maintain regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, uniform, equipments in the hotel.
-Evaluate employee performance for promotions and transfers.
-Approval of supply requisitions for the housekeeping and to maintain minimum stock and cost control procedures for all materials.
-Check the reports, files, registers maintained in the department.
-Provide budget to the management and control of budgets
- Handle Laundry and Uniform
Overseeing Housekeeping day to day operations
Inspect Guest floors, Lobby, Public Area and Restaurants, Beach and Pool area hygiene and cleanliness.
Attending Guest Complain and resolve the issues, Record data and address them to the team in order to reduce the issue.
Coordinate with Engineering Department for Maintenance/ Preventive Maintenance & Other daily operational equipments.
Liaise with supplier to organize and gather all kind of supplies and amenities, chemicals, machine and machine maintenance require in guest rooms and public area .
Liaise with contactor to manage manpower require according to the occupancy.
Conducting monthly refreshment training, plan new hire training plan, plan for
Prepare monthly breakage and damage report, monthly expense report and monthly accrual
Prepare monthly performance analysis report to evaluate and enhance team performance.
► Conducting daily briefing and monthly training and special training for new colleagues
► Responsible for Quarterly Linen and Operating equipment Inventory
► Inspecting guest room cleanliness and giving checklist to see that clean-up is sufficient; supplies in room are as per standard and immediate response to guest complaints.
►Monitor Housekeeping personnel to ensure rooms and particularly those of priority members, known repeat guests and other VIP's receive special attention with preferences noted.
►Coordinate with other departments of Housekeeping matters, which concern notably the Front Office, to ensure accurate room status, in addition to communicating with the Laundry
►Coordinate with Engineering for guest room and public area preventive maintenance
