• Review RFPs of Corporate Engineering & Health Facilities Management (CEHFM) for compliance with minimum information required and advising RFP initiators for any amendments required.

• Technical evaluation of proposals in coordination with end users/departments.
• Coordinate with end user to schedule site visits for bidders/vendors.
• Assist in procurement activities of Corporate Engineering & Health Facilities Management (CEHFM).
• Study and review procurement requirements and developing scope of works/specification documents as required in coordination with end users/department.
• Review PRs of Corporate Engineering & Health Facilities Management (CEHFM) for compliance with minimum information required and advising PR creators for any amendments required.
• Prepared worksheet exercises and conducted workshop in PR technical writing for oracle iProcurement PR creators.
Responsibilities:
• Managed the complete procurement cycle from preparation of tender documents, solicitation of bids, techno-commercial bid evaluation, negotiation and ordering, expediting of deliveries, vendor payments to order close-out.
• Monitored inventories of mechanical materials, coordinated with project managers and site storekeepers and procured the materials from approved vendors to ensure availability of materials at site as per the project execution plan.
• Accountable for finalizing the materials needed for the site based on approved design.
• Collaborated with clients and consultants for on time review and approval of all material submittals for Pipes & Fittings, Valves, Pumps, Chlorination system, Surge protection system etc.
• Selected qualified vendors, developed bills of quantities (BOQ), prepared and issued requests for quotations (RFQ), received and evaluated bids; prepared price comparison sheets, overviewed technical evaluations, approval and issued purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to expedite delivery of orders, inspection and acceptance at site and followed up final payment to vendors as per order terms and company policies.
• Coordinated with vendors/ account department to process invoices /delivery notes for release of vendor payments.
• Coordinating with Accounts Department and Vendors/suppliers for issuing LCs and other commercial documents as required.
• Involved in training new procurement staff joining into the Civil Division and assisting them in familiarizing with ERP system.
Major materials handled:
• Pipes, Fittings and Ancillaries: Ductile Iron pipes (Size from DN150 to DN1200 mm) and fittings like Elbow, Collars, Dismantling joints, Flange Adaptor, Threaded bolts and nuts etc., RC Jacking Pipes, GRP Pipes & Fittings, Copper pipes and fittings, uPVC pipes and fittings, HDPE & MDPE Pipes.
• Mechanical Equipment/Materials: Centrifugal Pumps (Water & Sewage), Sump pumps, Valves, Mechanical screen, Penstock, Odour control unit, Overhead crane, Surge protection system, Package Air conditioning Unit, Ventilation fan, Chlorine Tanks.
• Electrical and Instrumentation: Panels, Flowmeter, Switch gears, Transformer, Generator, Pressure gauge, Pressure transmitter, Cables (Power, Earth, MICC, Instrumentation), Valve actuators, UPS.
• Construction Materials: Cement, Aggregate, Sand, Reinforced bars.
• Consumables and Miscellaneous materials: Grinding machine, Drilling machine, Pneumatic breakers, Vibratory rammer, Safety consumables and equipment, Manhole cover and frames, Pipe wrapping tapes, primer, Heat shrink sleeve.
