• Designing and redesigning programs aimed at improving corporate access to finance in Jordan under favorable terms. The objective is to strengthen the central bank's role in stimulating economic growth and fostering job creation opportunities within the country.
• Conducting comprehensive research, including analysis of Input-Output tables, on key economic sectors to inform program design, as well as staying updated on economic policies, regulatory shifts, and global economic trends to ensure program alignment with current market conditions.

• Conducted in-depth analyses and research of national economic trends, policies, and indicators, producing reports and presentations that translated economic data into insights for informed decision-making within the department
• Contributed to GDP sector forecasts by monitoring leading indicators and conducting time series analysis, presenting findings to both IMF missions in Jordan and upper management to inform decision-making
• Produced reports on structural issues impacting the investment environment, competitiveness, and the labor market, while supervising the work of junior economists.

• Assisted in the design, development, and maintenance of short- and long-term economic models to forecast and explain the interactions between various economic variables by applying Matlab and E-views software.

• Evaluated different simulated scenarios through studying the effects of internal and external shocks on the economy by applying econometrics models and short-term forecasts, and reported the findings to upper management.

•Performed global financial markets analysis on a daily and weekly basis. The resulting analysis was submitted to upper management to assist in portfolio allocation decisions.

• Performed regular risk management analysis of the portfolio in order to ensure compliance with the investment policy. The risk management tools included VAR, effective duration, and convexity.

• Traded and conducted FX, Money market, and capital market transactions through the Reuters dealing system and the Bloomberg trading platform.

• Played an active role in managing the required reserve portfolio (USD 15 billion) which consists of money market and capital market instruments.

Handled the process of the execution of all treasury deals ‒ money market deals, Capital market deals, and FX transactions - efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner.

Handled the process of trading fixed-income instruments through the Bloomberg platform, and provided investment advice to the bank’s management regarding portfolio asset allocation, and contributed to identifying feasible potential investment opportunities.
