• SALIK:
Dubai’s electronic toll collection system used to congestion management and achieve free flow operation with no toll booths, no toll collectors, and no impact to traffic flow, allowing vehicles to move freely through the tolling point at highway speeds.
My duties are managed the communications with vendors, follow-up and checking the requrments, changes design and development tasks, prioritization system to ensure the deliverables meet the expectations.
• ECMS:
Early Warning System used to Track, Analyze, Predict and Report the Commodity Prices and Quantity in UAE market. The system helps the economic expert to make accurate decisions and action plans for maintaining the balance of commodities, supply, and prices in the UAE markets.
My duties are write and review the LLD (low level design) documet, TestCases document, Deplyemnt document, Supervise and coordinate team efforts and schedule daily tasks, and Client support.
This system was developed using ASP.NET 3.5, C# 3.5, SQL-Server 2008, Xcelesius, MS Biztalk, Metastorm Workflow, windows services, XML and related technologies.
• ECV:
Enterprise Connected View represents a blueprint of the company which organizes information artifacts and models along different tiers, mainly Strategy, Process, Resource, Information and Technology. The result of the Enterprise Connected View is enhanced impact analysis, faster response time, greater agility and more effective change management.
I worked with ECV team to construct enterprise models and ensure the accuracy of EA repository to build the connected view, trained users on the use of System Architect and EA concepts in general, worked collaboratively with the business on EA adoption and to understand, collate, and document EA requirements.
• KM:
The Dubai Customs’ Knowledge Management project has developed processes, technologies, and trained people to build an effective knowledge repository. This web site is the outcome of several years of research, development, knowledge capture, and participation from hundreds of employees within the organization.
I worked with Knowledge Management teams to collect implicit & explicit knowledge across Dubai Customs and providing knowledge, tracked knowledge management methodology, strategy & plans for Dubai customs, build the knowledge management portal that used to collect the knowledge, organize awareness workshops in various subjects to publish the knowledge between dubai customs sections and departments, research for the best practices of KM.
• IBM System Architect:
- Development of customized IBM System Architect reports for Enterprise Architecture (EA) and building required plug-ins to be used by EA.
- Provide Daily Administration activities on IBM System Architect, IBM Change, .. and support Users and ensure smooth operation of the platform.
- Enhance the DC Meta-model as required.
- Innovate new approaches and techniques for using, deploying, and exploiting IBM System Architect for Dubai Customs.
• AlertONE:
An enterprise bulk messaging solution for the telecommunication operators. This solution includes several functionalities such as Filtering, Reporting and Billing.
The system consists of an Intranet administration portal and an Internet end-user access portal (for the operator subscribers). The core system was developed using Web services and background multi-threaded Windows Services and relied heavily on Microsoft Message Queue. Several interfaces are supported for bulk messages submittal, such as SMPP (Short Message Peer-to-Peer Protocol), MM7, Web Services, E-Mail, and FTP etc…
AlertOne Component: SMPP Back-end, MM7 Back-end, Management and Tuning, Billing, Filtering, AlertOne Framework, Reporting.
This system was developed using ASP.NET 2.0, C# 2.0, SQL-Server 2005, SQL Server Reporting, and MSMQ.
• CommandONE:
a collaborative solution that connects Customers, Employees and Information, enabling organization to monitor and streamline Daily Business Processes, as well as providing an automated solution that will cover organization’s current and future Customer Service Unit needs.
CommandOne Component: Queueing, Tieckting, Imaging/Scanning, BPA (Business Process Automation), Enterprise Portal, CommandONE Framework, Reporting.
This system was developed using ASP.NET 2.0, C# 2.0, SQL-Server 2005, and MSMQ, Sharepoint, windows services, XML and related technologies.
