• Collecting, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
• Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
• Controlling income, cash flow and expenditures
• Supervising the accounting team
• Liaising between the management and the staff
• Handling daily cash balances
• Negotiating and evaluating overdrafts and loans with bankers.
• Performing full set of accounts and ensuring timely closing of accounts.
• Checking all the sales contracts on the reservation system.
• Checking the invoices after printing and managing for its delivery to the clients through sales team.
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Controlling the purchasing process.
• Controlling the petty cash movement.
• Supporting the external auditors with business information and required documents.
• Handling full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc.
• Reviewing and analyzing inventory movement transaction.
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
• Performing full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts.
• Performing project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to top management.
• Reviewing & approving payment vouchers & journal entries.
• Performing cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis.
• Issuing project cost reports for review and approval.
• Developing and maintaining internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
• Supporting the CEO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in-line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy.
• Establishing and maintaining systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns.
• Working consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
• Control the movement for inventories(raw material, MRO, WIP, and finished goods)
• Analyzing data collected and recording results
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing monthly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger
