Duties and Responsibilities;
• Revised and Preparing NEW Method Statement (Onshore) for Temporary facility, Reclamation, Re-handling of sand and
rock, Revetment and Breakwater, Wave wall (in situ).
• Preparing Method Statement for Offshore works such as MS for Concrete Deck, MS for Wave shield and Boat Landing
Installation, Cathodic Protection, Pile Jacketing etc.
• Preparing Material Approval Request (MAR) and Material Inspection with QC
• Preparing Documents and presentation material for Pre construction meeting.
• Preparing Plan and section drawing for onshore and offshore works.
• Responsible for preparing and attending progress daily report/meeting with PMC
• Responsible in calculating and preparing material requisition sheet needed at site.
• Interim quantity surveyor.

Duties and Responsibilities;
• KOC authorized permit applicant and permit to work holder.
• Working as Auto Cad draftsman (Civil, Pipeline and Mechanical)
• Preparing new Road crossing drawings and Pipeline alignment sheet drawings.
• Updating the pipeline drawings like pipeline alignment sheets, typical drawings, crossing drawing etc. as per actual site
conditions.
• Updating the Civil and Piping drawings like plot plans, general arrangement drawing, drip barrels, sectionalizing valve
station drawings, piping Isometric drawings.
• Coordinate between the Project consultant and Project designer to resolve design discrepancies.
• Familiar with International Standards and Codes such as: ASME B3 1, ACI, UBC, AISC, AWS, ASTM, AASHTO,
BS, DIN and API.
• Apply knowledge of the latest international codes.
• Coordinate with the survey team to resolve site problem such as exposed and buried existing facilities that are
obstruction to the pipeline design route.
• Maintain continuous quality control on all drawings produced under the section, ensuring that they adhere to HDEC
quality standards (e.g. high standards of visual presentation, error free, properly dimensioned, x-referenced etc.)
• Ensure keeping of all the latest construction drawing hard and soft copy for Civil and Pipelines.
• Ensure construction team maintains AFC latest drawings.
• Assisting QC department for the latest AFC Civil and Pipelines drawings.
• Assisting surveyors in preparing detailed drawing for structures, pipelines and existing utilities and giving correct
coordinates location.
• Preparing field change notice drawing to send for consultant approval.
• Preparing detailed bend drawing for hot or cold bends and calculating the bend angle or elastic bend if necessary in
pipeline route obstacles.
• Preparing detailed drawing for the alignment checking of anchor bolt as built in pig receiver and launcher for
survey consultant.
• Checking the work drawing of other draftsmen.
• Monitoring/Supervising construction excavation activities such as Pipelines, pedestals, drip barrels and
sectionalizing valve stations. Field check existing site conditions and topographic elevations to prevent flooding,
damage and safety hazards to surrounding areas. Inspect dry utilities such as gas lines, electric, telephone, cable TV,
and fiber optics to ensure they are not in conflict with other facilities
• Provide re-bar cutting list or bar bending schedule.
• Estimate the quantity of re-bar to be installed and volume of concrete to be poured.
• Preparing As-built drawings for Civil, Station, Piping and Pipeline Drawings and coordinate with survey team for
necessary documents such as Inspection notification report as needed by Flour consultant checking.
• Direct coordination with Flour consultant regarding as built issues.

 Preparing infrastructure design layout for roads, storm water lines and gullies, foul water lines and manholes, water supply lines, street lightings, telephone lines and concrete ducts.
 Responsible for estimating materials needed for storm water lines and gullies, foul water lines and manholes, water supply lines, street lightings, telephone lines and concrete ducts.
 Coordinate effectively with other engineers, review and understand design drawings prepared by local hired engineer that their work drawings and specifications are made based on the design provided by client and give comments before sending for approval.
 Preparing profile elevation for major water supply lines.
 Maintain continuous quality control on all drawings produced under the section, ensuring that they adhere to company quality standards (e.g. high standards of visual presentation, error free, properly dimensioned, x-referenced etc.)
 Ensure keeping of all the latest construction drawing hard and soft copy.
 Direct coordination with clients regarding the design issues.
 Coordinate with the survey team to resolve site problem such as exposed and buried existing facilities that are obstruction to the infrastructure utilities design route.
 Apply appropriate and immediate decision in solving the problem in the design matters.
 Coordinate with all Engineer In-charge in line for any design issues and interference.
 Assisting Planning and Quantity Survey Department Manager regarding the client and consultant concerns.
 Assist site engineers by responding to technical queries which they raise regarding the design conflict at site.
 Preparing As-built drawings for all the finish works such as roads, storm water lines and gullies, foul water lines and manholes, water supply lines, street lightings, telephone lines and concrete ducts and coordinate with survey team for necessary documents as needed by clients checking.

• Preparing layout drawing plans for building footings, columns, beams, slabs and elevations.
• Preparing detailed rebar drawings showing the rebar numbering, correct location and minimum length of splicing,
location of spacer, stagger, bar bends for minimum diameter, concrete clear cover, rebar spacing based on international
standard and specifications for footings, columns, beams, slabs and trenches
• Preparing bar bending schedule includes cutting lengths, diameter, quantities and rebar weight in economical manner
based on international standard and specifications for building footings, columns, beams, slabs and trenches.
• Calculating the sizes and quantities of the rebar if there is a need of rebar size changes.
• Assisting Technical Department Manager regarding the client and consultant concerns.
• Continually updating drawings with changes as issued by Consultants.
• Find solutions in case conflicts appear in design drawings and specifications by conferring with the Manager.
• Preparing percentage completion report for every structure.
• Giving aid to the Quantity surveyor.
• Review design drawings, specification and basics engineering principles and give comments before sending to site
construction.
• Support project engineering construction teams and other engineering disciplines on civil/architectural design issues and
opportunities.
• Site engineer for finishing works such as paintings, floor tiles, windows and doors etc.
• Do other related works as per instructed by the Technical department manager.
