My role in Air Charter Service is to source potential users, convert them as clients by delivering them with the right charter solution. As a sales excutive and an account manager of each client, I am responsible for the following:
Sales Role
A - Business Development
B - Relationship Building with the client and Suppliers.
C - Meet and exceed monthly sales target.
D - Source the right type of aircraft.
E - Maintaining supplier relationship.
F - Negotiating with the supplier and the customer to maximize margin on each deal.
G - Negotiating contractual obligations to limit exposure to Air Charter Service
H - Providing the best customer service to the client, this included 24/7 availability, up to minute update of each changes, informing clients of possibile complications, and updating them with each aircraft movement.
I -Making sure that all opeartional requirements are in place prior to flight.
J - ensuring that financial obligations of the client are met.
Managerial Role
A - Managing a sales force of 8 Charter brokers.
B - Reporting to senior management on the performance of the team
C - Coming up with strategies to ensure team meets and exceeds sales targets
D - Motivating sales team to achieve their targets.
E - Assisting with problem solving.
F - Ensuring compliance with sales procedures and company safeguards.
In my role as an Assistant Director of the Executive Jets Department I am broadly responsible to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Along with my responsibilities as a manager, below are some of my directives as an Assistant Director
1 - Ensuring that sales targets are achieved.
2 - Delegating responsibilities to team leaders.
3 - Ensuring that the company's and client's risks are mitigated and exposure is limited.
4 - Maintaining customer expectations and satisfaction.
5 - Representing the company in trade shows.
6 - Building and Maintaining supplier relationship.
7- Recruiting and retaining new personnel.
8 - Motivating the team
9 - Mentoring and training new sales personnel.
10 - Studying the market and developing proposals to ensure that market leadership is maintained.
