I'm responsible to manage the "Core Network and Transmission", containing operational activities, a team of telecommunication engineers, and projects deployment. The core unit of Wataniya Telecom is responsible for projects deliveries to serve customers of the organization. And, I'm accountable to steer projects within my area and being a member of the project steering groups for core related projects, however, following are my "Key Responsibilities"
• Ensuring that all activities of running projects are progressing with successful integrated with the "Core Network and Transmission areas. On the other hand, analyzing the updated reports of project managers to mitigate/eliminate risk to project deployment and hindrance in the delivery of services.
• Making sure the timely & effective feedback are communicated to the management for core network & transmission-including the NSS, BSC/RNC and IP/TX-because effective and efficient communication is the key to make differences in performance.
• Monitoring and approving requests for technical-focused resources.
• Assisting to determining solution-focused resources and approving requests for these resources.
• Align resources to deliver on commitments and drive results.
• Initiating team building and improvement activities.
• Developing technical resource plan for critical operational projects.
• Monitoring and controlling team performance against organizational/business plan and commencing changes as needed.
• Analyzing customer satisfaction and devising amelioration plan to gain optimum operational excellence.
• Developing hygiene factors, team camaraderie, knowledge sharing, and innovative culture to enhance the no-academic knowledge of team members.

I was serving in multitude of operations & maintenance: product delivery & team management, however. Following were the delegated responsibilities: • Managing projects and products development from their conception to withdrawal with the help of technical resources throughout the project/product life cycle within an agreed business plan.
• Performing project rollout plan and monitoring & controlling the IP core network and leading for integration of the 3G/2G network services.
• Managing team leaders of RF, NSS, BSS/RNC, and VAS for implementation of risk response plan to rectify the conundrums. In addition, responsible for reports generated by the Q&A team.
• Supervising the project implemented by subcontractors for the major network deployment.
• Providing check list to ease quality control process for corrective, preventive, and defect repair workouts. On the other hand, conducting meetings to interact with customers and senior management to update current status and risk triggers to keep them beyond the shadow of doubts.
• Ultimately responsible for services, risk triggers, monitoring & controlling and configuration management of the network.
• Periodic performance reviews of the Bandwidth to salvage the network performance and expedient solutions to expunge problems.
I've served as "Senior IP Network Engineer, " having responsibilities of network planning, project management of Network Security, and MPLS/IP based Network. Projects included: • Understanding competing requirements of client business and balancing the opportunities for Wataniya Telecom strategic business goals.
• Analyzing appropriate IP core enhancement plans to incorporate forecasted future growth of customer traffic.
• Disseminating the documents of newly Identified opportunities to increased new customers accounts penetration of existing and new product offers.
• Project leader for the planning, execution, and monitoring & controlling of the ISP & Packet Core networks for HSDPA based subscribers.
• Mobile Banking solutions for Bank (s) including SMS Alerts, and Billing Payments.

As a senior network Engineer, I've enjoyed working as primary subject matter expert related to MPLS/IP AtoM, TE, Qos & DSL core. However, the main responsibilities during project development were as: • Pre sales solution designing, testing, and deployment.
• MPLS testing and implementation (Cisco AToM) - L2 & L3 VPNs between multiple remote locations.
• Design of traffic engineering scheme for IP/MPLS domains.
• Internal network designs: simplification of existing network while improving security and replacing static routing with OSPF for management networks connecting worldwide datacenters.
• Engineered network/systems security guidelines - standardized configurations, installed and configured additional firewalls and IDS appliances.
• Improvement of network monitoring and management systems to ameliorate quality control.
Designing and deploying Windows NT/2000 in a Heterogeneous environment which includes Windows /95/98, Windows NT Workstation/Professional clients, providing help for desktop support to users, Implementing and maintaining Network Security, Hardware installation and Troubleshooting. Configured MS Exchange server for the entire network users, TCP/IP protocol routed across network and DHCP was configured. Also implemented DNS and WINS.
