Trained in Medical Coding and certified by AAPC as a Professional Coder. Has knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), ICD-10-CM(International Classification of Diseases, Revision 10-Clinical Modification) and HCPCS Level 2.
Production support of applications used by GAP, one of the leading names in apparel industries worldwide. Work includes managing and supporting jobs running live in production and taking steps to troubleshoot issues if any. Resolving tickets of both high and low priorities and providing workaround for the same on a daily basis was one of the responsibilities.
I have developed unix shell scripts and scheduled them in a mainframe scheduling platform called ESP. Have created reports using Crystal Reports tool for a Retail Lease management application for GAP. I also have done designing and editing jobs in Ascential datastage for many applications including the Loss Prevention and Reporting application for GAP. I also have some experience in Oracle, mySQL, DB2 querying and have expertise in the Service Manager tool from HP for ticket/task tracking and problem management. The applications were hosted in Citrix and I have good exposure to the platform.
Finding areas of improvement for existing applications and working to develop on the same in a variety of platforms including Unix, Oracle db, DB2, Ascential Datastage, Tririga etc is one of the responsibilities. Also have done development works for enhancements suggested by clients, and direct interaction with business partners regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Was part of a team and have also trained freshers for the team in the applications/technologies used.
