As Regional Sales Manager for UAS' trip support services, I am responsible for establishing and building relationships with new and existing clients, with a focus on Europe, but also in other regions. Offering both current UAS products including refuelling, ground handling and flight permits and new technology products comprising flight planning software, cabin and cockpit data and phone services, and a real time fuel ordering system.

Tasked with establishing Aviation Solutions as a notable business in both air cargo charters and air cargo I established strong links and increased business with and for many different stakeholders. Conducting aircraft charters and winning air cargo tenders predominantly for NGOs, relief aid agencies and multi-national freight forwarders. My main successes have come from my work with the relief aid sector, resulting in Aviation Solutions being selected as a preferred supplier to MSF, operating flights for the WFP and for other relief aid related organisations. Simultaneously I worked in appointing a network of sub GSAs to sell our air cargo product globally and negotiated interline and GSA/CSA agreements with a number of airlines and suppliers. I played a leading role in the appointment of Aviation Solutions as Etihad's CSA in Sharjah which expanded the company rapidly.

Develop tailored and universal pricing plans.

Create and maintain key business relationships with local and international businesses.

I accepted a role in the UAE working for the ACS Dubai office with a role of developing new business, especially in the Saudi Arabian and Iraqi markets. We successfully undertook a multi-million dollar operation in Iraq, using teamwork to overcome various obstacles. In 2013 the departure of a senior cargo employee required me to be seconded to the Johannesburg office to provide cover for the office and I was commended for efforts in ensuring the continuity of the office's success. In 2014 a further task was given to me which entailed me splitting my time between the UAE and the ACS in office in Mumbai, tutoring and developing the cargo department, with the aim of achieving break even within 6 months. We were able to achieve break even much earlier and by the 6 month conclusion were 50% ahead of targets set.

Develop sales strategies to adapt to current market transitions.

Tutor new or less experienced account managers globally.

Provide cover at short notice for other global offices.
