- Create the maintenance department Policies and Procedures
- Review and approve SOP’s related to maintenance works.
- Preparing the annual budget for the maintenance department, financial forecasting and monitoring the expenditures of maintenance department, ensure that financial performance is according to the set budget and plans.
- Playing effective role in HSE committee, management safety walks, Unsafe Conditions reporting and resolving.
- Member of HAZOP study team.
- conducting the FMEA, and Risk management for the terminal systems to create the optimum maintenance strategies and plans.
- Develop and implement Computerized Maintenance Management System and play a key role in Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance efforts across the Terminal. Manages maintenance activities for the upkeep of Equipment’s, Systems, buildings, landscapes, vehicles, and offices. Oversees a range of custodial and maintenance activities. Resolves problems as they arise whether directly or by assembling teams to solve those issues.
- Coordinate maintenance team efforts to make sure Terminal property like Equipment, Systems, buildings and grounds are kept up.
- Identify areas for improvement and assign teams to take care of issues.
- Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance teams.
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance.
- Manage and perform troubleshooting to solve minor & Major repair issues.
- Communicate plans for upper-level improvements to maintenance team staff.
- Contact and schedule outsources, and extra help as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy Terminal needs.
- Issuing periodic Reports related to maintenance department.
As a member of the Executive Committee taking care of the technical issues and presentations for the possible clients
Project: AMMAN STRATEGIC RESERVE TERMINAL FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS.
Main Contractor: OMJ
1- Part of the Commissioning and start up Team for the Mechanical Equipment at ASTPP plants, for White products and LPG. Such as:
1- 14 White Product Loading & unloading Bays (Jet Fuel, Diesel, G90 & G95).
2- 10 Loading Pumps at the Product Loading Shelter.
3- 4 LPG Loading Pumps.
4- 4 LPG Reciprocating Compressors.
5- Fire Fighting Pumps (2 Diesel Engine, 1 Electrical & 2 Jokey).
6- Oily Water System.
7- Compressed Air System.
8- Vapor Recovery Units.
2- Senior Maintenance Mechanical Engineer:
1- Troubleshoot, repair, modify installed equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.
2- Preparation of Preventive Maintenance Schedules & Procedures.
3- Routine Daily Checks and issuing the related Check Lists.
4- Arranging with the Equipment Manufacturers for the required Spare Parts and Maintenance Services.
5- Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
6- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
7- Provide technical support to maintenance and Plant daily operations.
Jordan Field Experiment Decommissioning and reclamation project is the process to safely remove and dismantle all facility and camp equipment, and restore JFE site back to its original land use by the D&R contractor. The Removal works started after freeing the Jordan Field Experiment process and utility lines from hydrocarbon and toxic media and de-energize all electrical and instrumentation systems by JOSCo’s Operations Team.

- All Mechanical works for Project Portion 1 which includes
- 2 x new GTG (Siemens SGT6 - 2000E) with related Auxiliary Systems.

- Compressed Air System.
- Water Treatment Plant.
- 5 MW Black Start Diesel Generator.
- Crude Oil Treatment Plant.
- Plant oily water Drainage and Disposal System.
Project Portion 2 :
- Relocation of Two GTG’s of GE frame 6 and all of their off base / on base Auxiliaries from the old Rafha PP 1 to the new Rafha PP2 including Testing, Commissioning and Re-starting of the GTG’s and their Auxiliaries at the new location.
