Yard Supervisor - Gulmar offshore Middle East;Sharjah - U.A.E May 2005 - Till Present


Responsible for all types of heavy steel fabrication job, offshore and onshore.
Contributed in the improvement of the yard and the construction of the welding and fabrication division.
Follow-up with the project managers for installing and fabricating the work on the vessel and ensuring that the work is done properly and completely before the vessel leaves.

All of the above job descriptions were handed over to me from the year of 2005 till 2007, when I was as a fabrication and welding foreman in Sharjah Khalid Port. But from the year of 2007 till present, my position is a yard supervisor in Sharjah Hamriya Freezone with the job descriptions given below:

Supervise & monitor a team of workers also ensuring safety & quality standards are maintained.
In-charge of the laborers and responsible for providing regular performance updates to the management.
Responsible for customs imports and exports
Ease of mobilization, man power and equipment on the vessel
Very good knowledge in the UAE market for purchasing any item or product
Good exerience and knowledge in ship maintenance and dry-dock operations
Ensure that each department supervisor is following the schedule of the maintenance, vessel operation and day to day work schedule
Identified as the “ Idea man “

Fixing defaults and problems founds in industrial machineries as well as making full maintenance work for these machines.
Performing neat and accurate fabrication and welding job.
Worked on all kinds of Machining and Milling Machines (Machine shop), also performing neat and accurate work.
In charged from receiving the drawings from the client, to studying it, distributing the work onto the workers and ensuring that the work is done rightly and delivered on time.
Responsible in following up of the work and the workers in the site.
Was one of the constructors of the new second branch in Sharjah Airport Saif Zone.
The Chairman calls me as “Passe partout “in French, meaning, the key which opens all doors.

Participating in the supervision of building the factory and contributing in the construction from the date of commencing to the execution of the project.
Involved in establishing the production line and water pump, following up with the maintenance and technical problems.
Worked small fabrication work that the job required example of conveyer, water stand, second level in the store, ECT...
Follow up in all domains for the company’s vehicles for example of insurance, service, registrations, etc…
Was named as “ The Dynamo Man “
