Preparation of project quality plan (PQP) and various Quality control procedures (QCPS).
Preparation of WPS and conducting and recording the actual variables for Procedure Qualification record(PQR).
Witness all NDT and destructive test related with welding procedure specification.
Conducting welder qualification tests, preparing welder qualification test reports and welder ID cards as per ASME SEC IX, API 1104 & project specification or client standards & maintain continuity.
Preparation of method statement, inspection test plan (ITP) for various stage of work like Welding of pipeline, piping receiving, handling & storage of materials, Welding consumables handling & storage, hydro testing etc.
Material Receiving Inspection including verification of color coding, physical condition, drawing requirements and material traceability with the material test certificates (MTC).
Checking the material condition, to ensure the material specification and dimensions are as per the approved for construction (AFC) drawing.
- carry out the bare pipe or spool inspection and preparation of release note for painting or coating
- checking the batch number, storage conditions and requirements as per paint data sheet, client specification
