Main Duties in Buildings Electrical and Instrument Services:
• Coordination of electrical & instrumentation shop drawings and as-builds with other disciplines.
• Site engineering including drawings verification and refinement.
• Material take-off, approval submittal and procurement.
• Preparation of Safe Work Method Statements in-line with project Safety and Quality Control Specifications.
• Management of subcontractors and Vendors / Specialists in construction, commissioning and handover.
• Construction, testing and commissioning of Buildings Electrical & ELV Systems: HVAC Controls, LV switchgears, fire alarm, lighting etc…
• Production of HVAC system operation manuals.
• Conduction of training sessions for Client’s operations and maintenance team.
• Operation and maintenance of building HVAC and electrical / ELV systems.
• Design and implementation of low voltage distribution systems for temporary site facilities including offices and fabrication shops.
• Finishing and handover.
Designed low current systems such as Building Management, fire alarm, CCTV, access control and perimeter intrusion detection systems.
Corresponded with various suppliers for sales and technical inquiries.
Pursued consultants’ approvals on designs and proposals.
Provided technical assistance to the engineering department.
Interacted with a variety of disciplines and subcontractors and coordinated shop drawings.
Provided training and orientation sessions for new engineers.
