As the school expanded into the city of Abu Dhabi, I was assigned the task of establishing the ELA department at the new branch, to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of such innovative pedagogical approaches as the multi-layered curriculum, classroom without borders, C.C. Differentiation, among many others.
I was also a member of the branch’s AIAA accreditation steering committee, heading the team in charge of Standard 2: The Educational Program.
Grades 4-6 ELA & ESS Coordinator & Facilitator(Teacher) of Grade 6 (July 2018 -June 2019)
Prior to the opening of the school, I worked with the school’s principal on putting together all administrative, academic, and financial documents required for attaining ADEK’s licences. I also worked with him on developing all policies, procedures, and plans (both administrative & academic) and recruiting the members of the core team.
As a coordinator, and in addition to the typical documents that any department requires, I put together the avant-garde multi-layered curriculum - a revolutionary approach to curriculum design that is inspired by the educational philosophy of Finland (one subject called knowledge). This pioneering approach needed contiuous revision based on the efficiency and effectiveness of its implementation. I was also a member of the school’s ADEK SEF committee, heading the team in charge of Standard 3: Teaching & Assessment.

• Faculty in charge of the school’s Model United Nations (MUN) club which offers a platform for students of grades 10 to 12 to research, debate, and, ultimately, learn about world affairs, while modeling the United Nations’ sub-entities. The club takes part in an Abu Dhabi-wide competition (ADMUN) held annually; our students achieved numerous awards.

I was assigned the role of ‘Themes Teacher’, were I had to integrate a number of disciplines (English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Arts), in line with the year-specific guidelines of the National Curriculum of the United Kingdom, to produce, from scratch, theme-based lessons along with class activities, home assignments, and assessments.
• Preparing the division’s mission statement, vision, values and goals along with an internal policy and job descriptions from scratch
• Administering that all functions related to the clients confirm to the Provision of Manpower Services Agreement, signed with ADNOC
• Evaluating past financial reports, analyzing historical financial performance, and establishing growth trends
