Adnan Saffarini Office Client: Realtors Real Estate Project Description: Project P139 comprises the execution and completion of the Commercial & Office Building in Al Amir Road, Qatar. The building contains 2 basement levels primarily containing parking facilities, services areas, etc., and a ground floor, 2 upper floors & roof. The scope includes the total base build works, interior finishes, complete electromechanical works/building services, specialist systems such as vertical transportation- lifts, external works, signage, impact protection system, external services such as plumbing and drainage- foul and surface water, irrigation system. Main responsibilities include:
•Responsible for QAQC monthly report submission.
•Prepares Prequalification, Material Submittals, ITPs & Method Statement
•Review and prepares Test Results Submittals.
•Conduct preliminary inspection in my area of responsibility & discipline, and ensure that all works are correctly prepared before any inspection to be undertaken with the Client's representative inspectors.
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, through knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Infrastructure, Utility, and Structural, Architectural disciplines.
•Responsible for QAQC monthly report submission.
•Conduct preliminary inspection in my area of responsibility & discipline, and ensure that all works are correctly prepared before any inspection to be undertaken with the Client's representative inspectors.
•Review the preventative actions recommended in non-conformance reports, and initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent the reoccurrence of non conformity.
•To report any defective material or non-conforming activity to the Sr QA/QC Engineer.
•Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure the concurrent and efficient work of all project disciplines
•Collaborate with the Site Engineer to conduct site inspections in line with approved inspection & test plans (ITP)
•Responsible for the Independent Testing Laboratory and liaising with the material technicians for the smooth functioning of the Laboratory
•Responsible for coordinating other testing activities such as NDT and liaised with the testing technicians for effective testing on the project. Client: Public Works Authority / ASHGHAL Project Description: Al Muntazah Interchange Project includes approximately 8 km of new dual carriageway on Abu Hamour Road from East Industrial Interchange to Woqod Interchange, and approximately 2 km of dual carriageway on F-Ring Road from Woqod Interchange to Al Jazeera Interchange. The works include highways and highway structures, construction of four Interchanges containing underpasses, underpasses bridge structures, and flyovers, potable water supply systems, Irrigation distribution systems, wastewater systems, pumping stations, surface and ground water drainage systems, electricity networks, Substations, telecommunications network, microtunnel, street signs, and traffic signals. Main responsibilities include:
•Conduct preliminary inspection in my area of responsibility & discipline, and ensure that all works are correctly prepared before any inspection to be undertaken with the Client's representative inspectors.
•Ensure that Quality Management Systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with the defined quality standards.
•Liaise with the client representative regarding project quality matters
•Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance and stop any non-conforming works from proceeding without rectification.
•Review the preventative actions recommended in non-conformance reports, and initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent the reoccurrence of non conformity.
•Ensure that all site personnel including sub-contractors follow the quality assurance system and assist in the training of site personnel in the QA/QC system.
•Step-by-step inspection as per inspection and testing procedures (ITP) and Field Inspection Procedures, render monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of work being implemented by the construction group.
•Works also includes a review the preparation of ITPs and Method Statements as per the government Standards and project specifications
•Responsible for the coordination of other testing activities such as NDT and liaising with the testing technicians for effective testing on the project
•Coordinate with site QC Inspectors in the day-to-day functioning of the department and act as the coordination point of the QC department.
•To report any defective material or non-conforming activity to the Sr. QA/QC Engineer.
•Coordinate with site QC Inspectors for the Snag list issued by client representatives and ensure that snags will be closed on a timely basis prior to PCC & FCC Handover Inspections.
•Comply with all the requirements handing over documentation for the milestone achievements and end of the project.
•Supervised post-tension works for bridges and flyovers.
•Ensure the standards of Safety and Quality are not compromised. Success Criteria/Project Achievement:

•Coordination of project for the construction of Salcedo Square Condominium and Pinecrest Condominium precast with the client, production plant, and subcontractors.
•Prepare weekly, and monthly accomplishment monitoring reports including project status, manpower report, updated work schedule

•Estimation, Cost analysis, preparation of contracts for subcontractors, and bill of quantity of the project

•Attend weekly trade meetings to discuss with the construction management team and consultant to facilitate solutions for any problems encountered within the week
•Prepare necessary shop drawings for owners' approval

•Prepare necessary estimates and drawings for various changes and additional works
