My primary responsibilities in a project are design, integration, configuration and commissioning of Broadcast and Pro Audio Visual systems.

Some other duties includes:

• Carry out quick design, technical proposal and BOQ verification at the tender stage of the project.
• Specializes in design building of audio and video system schematic interconnection through a drawing software.
• Configures and maintains vision and audio digital mixer consoles including other broadcast equipment like VTRs, tally, cameras, party-line intercom, multi-viewers, up/down converters, distribution amplifiers, audio players and recorders.
• Configure, test and calibrate broadcast equipment to meet the client’s specification.
• Maintain and checks broadcast equipment upon the needs of the client after hand over.
• Manage personnel to finish the task quickly during integration.
• Cabling and termination of audio, video and data in the equipment rack cabinet.
• Create equipment set-up guides and specify maintenance requirements.

• Design analogue and digital broadcast audio and video system interconnection in studios, master control room and in outside broadcast remote location.
• Configures and operates broadcast digital mixing consoles and other broadcast equipment.
• Design, integrates, configures and operates satellite uplink / downlink and microwave equipment.
• Monitor and perform video and audio quality checks on inbound and outbound program signals to ensure it meets broadcast TV specification and standard.
• Perform first-line equipment checks, preventive maintenance on equipment according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Design analogue and digital RF television studio transmitter link (STL) and repeaters.
• Responsible for the LOS (line-of-site) link from remote location area to the studio and vice versa.
• Installation of portable/fixed microwave and other telecommunications equipment at high-rise buildings and self-supporting transmitter towers.
• Responsible for planning frequency allocation of each transmitter to the corresponding receivers for bandwidth optimization.
• Recommends and design off-site upgrades such as re-orientation of antenna and frequency planning on the additional microwave RF radios.
• Design of indoor network layout through the use of link budgets and the recommendation of network architecture and components.
• Pre-design site survey to assess condition / layout of building environment.
• Analytical analysis of the radio field intensity (RFI) measurement scanning upon installation of microwave RF equipment.
• Develop inspection and commissioning plans to ensure correct implementation in the field.
