Responsible for overseeing procurement, sourcing, and logistics management for five international sites in the UAE,
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Morocco, and Jordan.
Implement a procurement strategy that is in alignment with the company's overall vision and direction; optimize the
management structure of procurements and stocks, and streamline procurement procedures across all fields.
Managing relationships with suppliers and service providers, ensuring that we have effective and efficient services at the
highest business level possible; overseeing the logistics management and goods transportation flow globally.
Ensure that the stock is managed effectively and efficiently, and also take charge of global stock management and
optimization, supply chain setup, and ERP implementation.
Involve in stock control and reorganization, and implement processes to streamline communication, information sharing, and
reporting within the procurement category.
Optimize procurement and sourcing operations, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and ensure that the supply chain
management is aligned with the company's overall vision and direction.
Responsible for the sourcing of local and international suppliers; procuring supplies for the opening of 20 new stores, including
4 hypermarkets and 16 supermarkets; defining the product range that matched the customer profile for each store; negotiating
yearly agreements and contracts with suppliers and developing all weekly/monthly promotional plans.
Recruited and trained category managers and ensured the Hygiene and Quality department was well managed.
Conducted store audits, reported, and developed action plans with control points, and implemented ISO 22000, a food and
safety management system, to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety in all of our stores.
Visited stores regularly, conducted SWOT analysis, and developed strategies to improve P&L lines across all income streams,
including rebates, gross margin, opening fees, payment terms, and marketing.
Worked as the Head Manager in charge of a bakery-pastry production center, which comprised 7 laboratories producing French
bread, Arabic bread, donuts, pastry cream, pastry dry, Arabic pastry, and viennoiseries.
With a team of 45 employees, supplied all 20 hypermarkets and supermarkets, ensuring the highest standards of quality and
freshness in our baked goods.
