1. To be aware of the complexities of construction activities, the hazards pertaining to the activities and the measures appropriate in the treatment of works.
2. To provide on-site- first-aid care to employees at work upon injuries resulting from accidents, the treatment of minor injuries which would otherwise receive no treatment or which do not need treatment by a medical practitioner.
3. To initiate on site treatment in cases where a person will need help from medical practitioner, treatment for preserving life and as far as possible, minimizing the consequences of injury and illness until such help is obtained .
4. Responsible to resuscitate and stabilize a patient, as and when required, prior to evacuation of the patient to hospital.
5. To initiate on site treatment of illness, which may include acute medical and surgical conditions requiring immediate skilled treatment.
6. To offer help and assistance; must be conversant with his role in emergency / contingency plans; must be able to give simple advice on the provision of a healthy living and working environment.
7. Facilitate transportation / dispatching of employees / workers suffering from ailments / conditions requiring treatment at a clinic / hospital by advising the responsible manager in charge to arrange for ambulance for transferring the patient to the hospital.
8. Conduct employee training related to personal hygiene as and when required.
9. Monitoring of heat stress management and adherence to the procedure.
10. Conduct weekly site office, site and rest area hygiene inspections and report deviations to the project HSE Manager.
11. Daily record keeping regarding incidents, injuries and accidents. Ensuring that all relevant records are accounted for, up to date and current.
12. Keep first aid room well equipped at all times
13. Ensure that all First Aid Boxes are recorded on specified register, contents verified and recorded monthly as well as content inventories recorded and stock frequently replenished.
14. Submit weekly and monthly incident and injury reports to the Project HSE manager.
15. Ensure that Emergency Numbers and Site Nurse / First Aider Name and Telephone lists up to date and displayed on site notice boards, at first aid boxes and at the first aid station.
.1. Under fire, health and safety department and works coordinately among security, fireman and co- nurse.
2. Provides round the clock first aid service to all the residents of the village and to employees as well.
3. Ensure health and safety precautions in working area.
4. Provides updated health teachings and basic first aid training to employees.
5. Validates medical complaints by assessing their vital signs and provides over the counter medications.
6. To make sure that all the essential medicines and consumables are procured and replenished on a regular basis for the first aid centre.
7. To keep proper record of the daily consumption of medicines and medical consumables.
8. To keep updated record of all the permanent medical & non-medical items/equipments/instruments.
9. To prioritize the cases on severity basis and to arrange and co-ordinate the transfer of serious cases to the nearest accredited hospital
10. Keep and secured second copy of the patient medical records and reports monthly statistics to the village manager.
1. Generally responsible in attending patients health care needstogether with the doctors and other members of the health team.
2. Provide excellent nursing care by utilizing keen observation in health promotion, prevention and rehabilitation.
3. Caring critically ill patients with endotracheal tube/ tracheal tube in place for ventilation.
4. Knowledgeable in basic operation on mechanical ventilators, suction machines, ecg, telemetry, syringe pump, dextrose pump, defibrillator.
5. Assisting in ET tube and tracheal tube insertion/intubation and extubation.
6. Frequent cleaning on stoma to prevent infection.
7. Hourly vital signs and neuro vital signs monitoring, measuring urine output and suctioning discharges.
8. Routine complete bed bath every morning.
9. Blood extraction for arterial blood gas examination and other blood exams.
10. Doing blood transfusion

12. Bed sore precaution, turning patient side to side.
13. CVP central venous pressure reading and monitoring.
