* Develop the overall investor relations strategy and manage its implementation to ensure that the company’s interests are efficiently promoted.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with securities analysts, shareholders, fund managers (both local and international), public relations firms and press, in order to manage the flow of financial and other information.

* Assisted Investment Committee in managing approx PKR 12bn funds under management.
* Advised on transactions related to block deals, shares buy back, participation in IPO, Right share issues and strategic investments by the company.
* Conducted detailed financial analysis for companies in a broad range of industries with specific focus on Oil & Gas, Electricity, Chemical and Fertilizer sectors to serve as an input for investment proposals.
* Prepared financial models employing various valuation techniques to arrive at under coverage stock’s fair value through FCFE, FCFF, DDM, EV/EBITDA, EVA, RI and SOTP valuation methods.
* Pitched stock ideas to Investment Committee and provided comprehensive written evaluations on specific stocks.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with market professionals.
* Coverage included “Automobile assemblers”, “Cement”, and “Fertilizer” sectors.
* Update sales team and preferred clients on key developments that affect security prices.
* Respond to requests for data and information from internal and external clients.
* Write reports on assigned companies/industry for distribution to Live Securities’ sales team and clients.
* Interview management and external industry contacts to conduct published research.
* Give monthly presentation to sales team regarding current events and their likely impacts on different sectors.
