• Raise e-MOC (Management of Change) for existing installations in ADCO NEB Field such as:
DC Contactor Wiring Modification for NEB Field Battery Charger (i.e. this
modification was officially supported by Chloride France R & D Team)
Construction of Battery Rooms for NEB Field Clusters in accordance to SHELL
DEP & ADCO Engineering Design Guidelines
Implementation of Wireless Controllers for NEB HP Gas Area Overhead Cranes
Enhancement of NEB LP Compressor’s Lube Oil Electrical Heaters Performance
• Prepare competitive quotes of various sizes for entire projects, estimating the cost of materials,
labour and equipment towards optimized project cost
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Engineering and Contractors in formulating project strategies and
delivering customized polymer systems/solutions to meet clients’ requirements
• Review and interpret technical specifications and architectural drawings
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
• Implement Condition Monitoring Program for Electrical Assets such as:
- Online Partial Discharge for HV Switchgears & Motors
- DGA & Breakdown Analysis for Transformer Die-electric Fluids
- ABB HV Motors Diagnosis via LEAP (Life Expectancy Analysis Program)
- SF6 Gas Analysis in HV Switchgears
- Battery Discharge Testing for UPS Batteries
• Review applicable Standard Procedures against OEM Recommendations and Maintenance
Effectiveness Studies
• Prepare Stock Inventory Study for Critical Spares such as ALSTOM and ABB ACS 6000 Drives
• Prepare Scope Of Work for floating new contracts and conduct subsequent technical evaluations
• Act as technical focal point on matters relevant to Electrical Assets within ADCO NEB Field
during prolonged outages and future expansion projects
• Lead Investigation Teams for auditing Electrical Incidents such as NEB Accommodation Fire Incident (August 2013)
• Pinpointing of several Underground Cable Faults using BAUR Syscompact 2000 unit
• Conduct Assessment of HV Switching Authorization Panel for new Engineers & Foremen
• Prepare annual training plan for Electrical Engineers and Foremen
• Prepare Master Overhaul & Shutdown Plans for Major Electrical Equipments in terms of
manhours, materials and vendor intervention
• Attend Kick-off & Progress Meetings with Vendors and Contractors to monitor their progress and
provide support, if required
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Petroleum Institute - UAE in 2007 (CGPA of 3.72 - The Petroleum Institute is ABET accredited - Washington Accord)
