PROGRAMME MANAGER:
Ensuring that all required resources are assigned to the project and clearly tasked; Managing assigned resources according to the defined scope of the project; Implementing the following project processes: time / quality/ change/ risk/ issues/ communication; Monitoring and reporting on project performance (schedule, quality and risk); Reporting and escalating project risks and issues; Liaising with vendors, project team members and project stakeholders; and coordinating meetings, communication sessions and other project monitoring & control activities; Overseeing the management of the various project streams; Provide leadership and direction to project team leaders and project teams; Recruitment of project resources; Report project status to the Project Sponsor / Project Owner; Propose changes of planned activities and schedules to the Project Sponsorship.
To provide marketing expertise for the day-to-day management of products for designated channels in the development pipeline. These activities include opportunity assessment, market evaluation, market research, financial evaluation, and other marketing needs required throughout the product evaluation process. Define the product roadmap in the long, mid and short term incorporating customer needs, input and feedback from other internal and external groups. Furthermore, To plan, execute, and deliver projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan. Also, define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Finally, to understand the needs of the business as a whole, its strategic direction, and identify initiatives that will allow the business to meet those strategic goals. It includes creating and maintaining the business architecture; conducting feasibility studies; identifying new business opportunities; scoping and defining new business opportunities; preparing the business case; designing and implementing new business processes, as well as improving existing ones.
Documenting the detailed Project governance artifacts: Project Charter, Project Plan, Project Scope documents. Ensuring that all required resources are assigned to the project and clearly tasked. I studied at Petronas University of Technology on a bursary awarded to me by the South African Department of Minerals and Energy. At the end of my 3rd year of study, prior to completing my 4th year honours, I completed an 8-month internship at SITA (State Infromation Technology Agency) in South Africa.
