• Develop organizational development strategy in line with the corporate policies, communicate OD plans/projects to departments and provide necessary tools through training and performance incentives to achieve set objectives.
• Define and implement organizational effectiveness initiatives including organizational design and development, change management, talent management and leadership development.
• Facilitate the growth of a learning organization that focuses on improving service quality, generate worthwhile opportunities for people within the organization and assist in the development of new business models to support profit generation.
• Institute and implement a performance management system to identify top performers, reward A-grade employees with performance incentives, bonuses and profit-sharing schemes and ensure employee retention.
• Prepare long-term plans to ensure business expansion objectives are met in a time-bound manner and support the top management in effective talent management and succession planning.
• Contribute to the compensation review activity, analyze relevance of existing pay scales and employee grades and suggest robust variable pay structure to reward competent personnel and incentivize performance.
• Analyze staffing requirements of various departments, prepare job descriptions, ascertain eligibility norms, finalize the Manpower plan as per company policy.
• Interview shortlisted candidates and evaluate their competencies based on the organization and the vacant position required competencies level (Competency Based Interview).
• Partner with HR and Compensation to share market trend knowledge and develop cross-functional strategy to attract and retain talent through competitive compensation packages and offers.
• Prepare the yearly training calendar, identified training needs across the organization, developed modules as per specific functions and organized knowledge sharing sessions for continuous learning and growth.
• Initiate disciplinary actions to address employee non-compliance and referred matters of serious concern to the executive management for decision-making and further action.
• Administer processes related to employee medical insurance, handled formalities for staff working at Cairo and Hurghada branches and liaised with Medical Provider to secure adequate insurance cover as per Contract & labor law.
• Initiate & Implement the company Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) yearly plan & initiatives which reflect positively on the company image, visibility and sustainability among its employees & shareholders.
• Responsible for the internal communication to ensure that all messages from HR Department & Company Management reflects the required levels of positive psychology and agreed guidelines.
• Develop detailed reports stating observations pertaining to recruitment, training, employee motivation & engagement, effectiveness of performance management systems, attrition control measures and relevant statutory compliance.
• As company representative, attend job fairs to source enthusiastic graduates / professionals for vacancies demanding specific skill-set, effectively introduce the company at such events as a stable and progressive organization.
• Liaise with external training providers to arrange sessions as per the annual training calendar, provide support to ensure appropriate management of HR tasks and participate in training module development.
• Gather staffing requirements from Managers of various departments, develop job descriptions, define eligibility criteria and identify the recruitment channel.
• Conduct aptitude tests to assess applicants based on competency / skills and ensured smooth completion of interviews; receive recommendations from the panel regarding selection of candidates.
• Maintain records of all applicants on file and in digital formats to build a database of potential candidates for future recruitments.
• Communicate with selected candidates to forward offer letters, confirm acceptance and explain the on-boarding process.
• Handle termination procedures, conduct exit interviews of employees opting to resign and note areas of improvement from the personnel administration perspective.
• Screen and shortlist CVs and forwarded competent / eligible ones to the Client in the Gulf Area.
• Interview candidates and organize recruitment campaigns for the technical tests/interviews.
• Make travel arrangements for accepted candidates (Visa Process, Medical & Security Check).
• Responsible for “Qatar Chemicals” & “First Gulf Bank” Recruitment Campaigns during November & December 2007.
• Responsible for “Ras Gas” & “Sultan Center” Recruitment Campaign in Cairo during October 2007 & February 2008.
