Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Project quality planning, inspection and test procedures to maintain high standards and quality of all processes.
• Execute QA/QC initiatives and measures across assigned project(s) ensuring compliance to the QA/QC procedures.
• Daily monitoring and inspection over the site activities such as Balancing tank and Attenuation tank (Excavation, Structural and reinforcement concrete) Micro-tunneling (excavation, pipe jacking, grouting and implementation of manhole reinforcement concrete), Road works (sub-grade, sub-base primer and tack coat, base and wearing coarse) Trenches and Manholes (excavation, pipe laying & Backfill with compaction test).
• Close supervision of water, sewerage, drainage, road works and other utilities (MEP for civil works) network projects.
• Attend monthly quality meeting with the Project Management Consultant and Project Supervision.
• Ensure the implementation of all QAQC procedures, Inspection & Test Plan, and Method Statements.
• Liaise with QAQC manager to resource QAQC Staff and other required inputs for QAQC functioning.
• Responsible to prepare Method statement, ITP and ICL on various items of work prior to their commencement on site.
• Responsible to proposed corrective and preventive action required for closure of NRC, CAR and SOR.
• Establish a field Quality Management System that will be implemented consistently throughout the project and by any sub-contractor.
• Review technical submittal, shop drawing, prequalification and materials as required.
• Responsible to prepare the monthly and weekly report.
• Render monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of work being implemented by the construction group.
• Coordinate with the construction department for closing out NCR/SOR.
• Assist with QC inspector to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaboarate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systmens.
• Manage non comformance processes and evaluation all documents to ensure maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
OTHER RELATED RESPOSIBILITIES:
• Ensuring that all measuring and test equipment’s are calibrated with updated calibration certificate and in good working condition.
• Witness 3rd party testing: FDT for approve backfilled materials, compression test for concrete (7 and 28 days), tensile test for steel, core test, evenness test, asphalt, and other related quality control test.
• Checking for concrete slump, temperature, and ensure proper placing and curing of concrete.
• Frequency sampling for materials (aggregates, structural fill, trench fill, sub-grade, sub-base, Asphalt materials test report etc.).
ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
• Handover invitation for inspection by the authorities concern.
• Comply all the Punch list/Snag list given by the authorities concern.
• Submission of Operation & Maintenance Manual to the authorities concern.
• Preparation of Final Dossier for Handover Documents
• Submission of Assets Takeover to the authorities concern
