CONSTRUCTION, COMPLETION AND MAINTENANCE OF UNDERGROUND CAR PARKS IN DOHA GRAND PARK (AL-BEDAA AREA).
Client: private Engineering Office (PEO)
The project comprises the construction, completion and maintenance of 8 underground car parks with total capacity of 3, 500 car parks, total Project Budget 2.5 billion QR.

The duties involved Carrying out the following in consultation with the Project Manager/Construction manager:

• Reviewing the detailed programme with capacities of more than 10, 000 work activities as specified in the Contract and revise this programme during construction.
• Ensure compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding system.
• Review the cost loading, Manpower and Equipment and the subsequent cash flow, tables and histograms to provided clear forecast for further action.
• Collect from site all necessary information and prepare the required Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Monitor the progress of the Project and discuss with the Project Manager/Construction Manager corrective measures as necessary
• Coordinate with the Site Planning Engineers in order to develop and monitor one month look ahead programme in accordance with company internal procedures
• Manage a team of Junior Planning Engineers, depending on Project size and provide mentoring advices.
• Coordinate with the Materials Department and provide all the necessary information regarding the dates materials will be required on site
• Mitigate risk by adopting recovery strategies for any identified project delays.
• Escalation of emerging risks to the assigned Project Manager.
• Review "look ahead" schedules and reports for Client the weekly Dashboard and the top management report in accordance with Contract requirements.
• Work in collaboration with the Finance team to provide revenue and cost forecasts throughout the life cycle of the project/s.
• Identify delay situations and in coordination with the client and the Commercial Manager of the project maintain a list with the delay events/areas of concern and include it in the Monthly Progress Report.
• Review all the documents (Letters, Request for Information, Site Inspection Request, Variation Orders, Drawings etc.) and identify the ones related to the delay events that will be used for potential extension of time claims.
• Implementation of standard methods of delay analysis (As Planned Impacted, Time Impacts Analysis etc.) for extension of time claims
