As a DY General Manager at NSK, my responsibilities included managing pan India warehouse operations, zero delivery failures, meeting production requirements and maintaining optimum inventories and ensuring reorder level etc. I prioritized safety regulations and ensured compliance to create a safe work environment.
• Key person for Budget preparation for purchases as well as overseas sales target and ensuring the same is achieved in the financial year ending.
• Achieved 23M INR per year by introducing new packing methodology & transportation for the movement of bearings to Maruti Suzuki from Chennai from 2019 onwards.
• Coordinator for other regions bearing requirements and ensuring costing, transportation and compliance(FTA, Licensing etd) as per company standards.

Head for procurement of Child and Knock down parts from Korea. Responsible for Local RM and consumable purchases. Maintaining inventory as per the given standards. Responsible for Invoices, Taxation and legal procedures related with local tax departments.
As a Senior Purchase officer responsible for overseas purchase of Supermarket carts, RM - Galvanized sheets and fasteners. On time clearance of Import and Export shipments. Maintaining Inventory.
• Achieved cost reduction by new overseas vendor sourcing for RM and CKD parts.
• No of days for Clearance of Imports had reduced from 5 days to 2 days and reduced the CFS cost.
Responsible for New Vendor development. Inventory Management, logistics and clearance activities.

Responsible for all purchases including compressor heads from RMW - Coimbatore.
