➢ Prepare and Developing Welding Procedures as per project requirements with reference of
relevant standard and Client specification.
➢ Qualifying Welder as per project requirement with approved third party and maintaining the
continuity record for each Welder with their NDT performance.
➢ Selecting suitable welding consumable with considering Chemical, Mechanical properties and
conducting receiving inspection with proper notification.
➢ Preparing and developing Inspection Test Plan (ITP), NDT procedures and implementing the
same after approval.
➢ Preparing and Reviewing Quality plan with reference of ISO documents and Schedule Q.
➢ Assignment and Instruction of welders, use or function of equipment and accessories, welding
consumables and auxiliaries, application of tack welding, welding process parameters,
intermediate testing, method of pre heating and post weld heat treatment.
➢ Assisting Quality department to solve and close out the site observations and NCRs.
➢ Testing - Visual examination, completeness of welding, weld dimensions, shape and tolerance
of the welded components, joint appearance.
➢ Piping Line check with P& ID diagram.
➢ Preparing hydrotest Packages, Punch list.
➢ Coordinating hydrotest for piping & Valves (Seat & Body).
➢ Maintaining calibration records for inspection equipment’s, Welding Machines, baking and
drying ovens

Projects Handled: Heavy Industries Structural, Structural equipment’s, Mining Industry
structures and Boiler accessories for Clients L&T, BHEL, Siemens Vai, Regen Powertech,
Cladius Peter, FSL Smith and Transmin Australia.
➢ Select and developing suitable welding Procedures as per project requirements and getting
approval.
➢ Qualifying Welder with approved third party and maintain continuity record.
➢ Estimation and selecting suitable welding consumable with meeting project requirements,
Quality and cost.
➢ Daily surveillance on workshop and Welding consumable stores.
➢ Conducting calibration for Welding machines and equipment’s with maintenance department
and maintaining the records.
➢ Developing new techniques and equipments to increase the quality and productivity.
➢ Assist and coordinating management in ISO 9001 and Project facility audits
