• Manage day-to-day operations of the shop floor by leading and motivating the employees in all areas including safety, efficiency, loss management, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Develops and updates Production Department safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required, for the safe and efficient operation of all production equipment and related functions. Conduct half yearly OJT reviews to monitor and assure team compliance.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve production goals.
• Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy).
• Develop, maintain and empower a quality conscientious attitude among employees. Ensure all raw material, packaging material, Work in Progress (WIP) and finished goods are handled within Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and First Expired First-Out (FEFO) guidelines
• Manage employee relations issues, guiding and directing the hiring, training, retraining, development and motivation of employees. Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining of employees.
• Conduct process checks within areas of responsibility and monitor performance to establish standard work formats and daily accountability.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to continuously improve methods, processes and production KPIs
• Work with the product development team to introduce new product lines into production ensuring the staff is adequately trained
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed. This includes incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, implementation, and verification.
• Participate as an active member of the Site Safety Committee, POP Committee, and other safety Work groups, PHA and FAF meetings as needed
• Handling shift administrative activities such as time and absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, etc in SAP success factors.
• Perform Safety, GMP and 5 S audits in the departments
• Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and off floor review meetings.
• Support in planning and implementation of investment projects to achieve higher capacity, compliance, or new technologies; contribute to all capital expenditure activities as needed.
• Supporting and potentially participating in Quality audits for the internal audit program, external audits (suppliers) or 3rd party audits and coordinate completion of Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans for all audits.
• Using problem-solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate customer complaints & quality non-conformances.
• Track monthly budget for the department and ensure goals are met by reducing cost related to production

As a Production Team Leader
•Manage and measure day to day work of his team, to deliver agreed operation KPIs in terms of costs, quality, customer service, safety and hygiene, and routine PM tasks.
•Make assignments and monitor progress, co-ordinate training, and develop associates in their area of responsibility.
•To promote and drive LEAN and continuous improvement culture within his team, and to lead implementing continuous improvement activities that address safety, quality, and efficiency in his production line / area.
•To support FMOS by managing process confirmation tours, ensure effectiveness of JTM and morning meeting action closing in his line.
•Lead and own the morning daily meeting for value stream.
•To develop a problem solving and failure root cause analysis approach within his team.
•To coordinate the shift value stream activities:
• Performance and team activities. NQC, Manpower and material flow, FMOS, Scheduling and Kanban control.
•To lead the site emergency team.

As a Value Stream Planner
•Receive market plans and Schedule value stream production for agreed period for Planning freeze duration, coordinate with the stakeholders, plan for changeovers sequence, PM activities, manpower ordering and material ordering internally and externally (from our warehouse and from external suppliers as required (sugar, pack’s, etc.) through PPM scheduling with related transactions in Atlas.
•Represent the value stream in planning activities and raw material trials, which includes coordination of the line trials and LTR activities across the value stream
•Maintain and own the planning systems (PLS & PPM) for the value stream.
•Track ordering of consumables through E-Buy system for the value stream and Tracking of budget while highlighting over/under consumptions.
•Carry out 100% inventory stock count in collaboration with logistics for the value stream.
•Ordering and Tracking of Manpower on daily basis ensuring zero impact on production, and Tracking of labor budget. Track and report any deviations from the approved cost. Ensure compliance of contract terms. Track the contractors’ skills relevance to the lines & make sure that all contractors are validated on Mars Safety & QFS standards.
