As Projects Director, provided portfolio management to drive project execution across GE Energy’s North America’s Solution Delivery (Projects) team for the implementation of asset and outage management based platforms with utility (electric and gas) and telecommunication organizations. Accountability included the mitigation of risk through regular reviews of financial performance, project execution, and schedule oversight for all active projects. Director responsibilities include oversight to eight program managers, schedule and training administration, and financial controls while coaching employees in project and financial management. Drove accountability in order for results to meet or improve financial metrics while addressing contractual obligations to a high level of deliverable quality in concert to customer success factors.

As Program Manager, oversaw large delivery teams around the globe (including the management of resellers, partners, and third party vendors) to integrate GE Energy based products and professional services across utility and telecommunication based organizations. Accountability included overall client engagement, scope, schedule, in addition to profit and loss responsibilities. Pertinent implementation and SFDLC processes managed included requirements definition, design, configuration/development, data migration, integration, testing, deployment and change management support. Engagements included the following: American Electric Power, Florida Power & Light, Hydro Québec, Puget Sound Energy, Xcel Energy, Cablevision Systems, and RCN.

Managed business development engagements including RFP bid teams and provided client presentations relative to consulting, product based deliveries, and system integration initiatives.

Atos Origin (also dba SchlumbergerSema), Colorado, USA, Bahrain & Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Managed and technically led enterprise-level technology projects and consulting engagements for Atos Origin, a global player in the Managed Services, Consulting and Systems Integration, and ERP markets.

Managed large multi cultural project teams (in addition to subcontractors and suppliers) including profit and loss responsibilities of up to $20M. Technical and consulting engagements included the implementations of SAP, data warehouses, software and web applications, work/asset management systems, and GIS.

Managed engagements with the following clients: Ministry of Interior (Saudi Arabia), Sabic (Saudi Arabia), Puerto Rico Water Authority, Washington Gas, Kansas City (Missouri), Kent County (Michigan) and Portland (Oregon).

Managed project teams (including business analysts, DBAs, software and network engineers) to plan and deploy a variety of technology initiatives involving the City’s software (MS Office 2000 upgrade), hardware (desktop deployment program and server farm upgrade), network (infrastructure expansion), and business systems.

Managed and directed project teams including subcontractors and software vendors to develop a new permitting, land development and licensing system that integrated with the City’s taxation, finance, work management, and GIS systems.

Managed the implementation of GIS for the State of Qatar’s planning and development departments (i.e. Planning, Lands Acquisition, and Survey) as part of a countrywide societal initiative. Recruited and led 20 consultants and analysts to standardize data acquisition, conversion, design, and development.

Also served as GIS project manager on behalf of the country’s Planning Department to formulate a 20-year physical development plan with HOK/Louis Berger.

Independent Consultant charged with preparing needs assessment and implementation planning documents for IT initiatives.

Led requirements gathering, design and application teams for the development and integration of land management, protective services and geospatial applications.

Independent Consultant / Analyst within the IT Department of this Transport and Consulting Engineering Company. Prepared a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and GIS technology needs analysis and implementation roadmap for the Melbourne Metropolitan Transport System.
