Access Transmission Planning Bespoke designs to account for circuits required by individual schemes. High level, PDH, Data, CCTV and detailed designs produced to strict timescales ensuring clients needs are met to Network Rail standards. Circuit routing, including BTS chain provision and Ethernet VLAN planning over SDH. Verification by use of Cramer. \nDesign of new FTN architecture including the Alcatel Lucent 1511MAX /1660V5.5 and CISCO 3400ME solutions. \nProject brought to completion: Leicester Re-locking, Walsall Cannock Re-signalling, Hertford National Integration Facility, Farnham Area Re-signalling, Ashford Life Extension Project. Currently engaged with East Sussex Coast Re-signalling and Three Bridges Railway Operational Centre.

Contracted to aid completion of the FTN/GSMR project. Focused on high level and detailed design of SDH equipment nodes to ensure operability and within the targeted completion date. Extensive use of Cramer and CCMS to aid the design process and ensure correct operability of the network.
The network has been designed to utilise the following equipment of which a deep knowledge had been acquired: Alcatel SDH/PDH design, DCN (IP & IS-IS utilising the Alcatel Omni-access OA512), Synch & Nortel GSM-R/BTS/BSC. Experienced with the Alcatel 1660SM, 1650SM/C, 1640FOX, 1515CXC, 1511BA, 1512PL (HDSL) . 1642EMC, ISAs (ALu's Ethernet Switch)

Yarmouth \nNR30 3PR \n \nWorking for the oil and gas industry to design SDH, Ethernet, CCTV, PAGA and PDH Telephone networks for clients based worldwide. \nProduced High level, circuit routing and electrical designs for a variety of systems. Choosing/locating equipment from suitable manufacturers such as GE Multilin, Norbain, Black box and Cisco. \n \nWorked end-end on the following projects: \nHasdrubal - Gabes pipeline transmission system, design of SDH, CCTV, PAGA and leak and intruder detection systems for the BG Group. \nCMT-Baku VSAT link- Designed an emergency link between Baku and Ceyhan Marine terminals for BTC. \nBTC Pipeline- Performed site surveys, design, installation of the OptaSense Leak and Intruder detection system for the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. \nMangala Development Pipeline- Contract winning demonstration, site survey, design and FAT of the Optasense Leak and Intruder Detection system. Generated detailed data designs to aid integration of system into existing data network. \n \nOn site work including trial of OptaSense system (India), site survey (Turkey), assisting with Upgrade of software, Supervision of installation and calibration of OptaSense system (Turkey).
