I was associated with IMECO, Abu Dhabi, as Senior Mechanical Engineer Estimation. I submit EPC as well as Construction only tenders with a team of discipline engineers. I perform Mechanical cost estimation works for Tenders for Clients like Takreer, Borouge, Fertil, ADNOC Onshore etc. The scope of responsibilities includes performing site visits, preparing BOQs, preparation of manpower and equipment histograms, floating inquiries, raising & answering Technical Clarifications, Client presentations, Techno-commercial Bid evaluation, vendor management, construction planning support for bidding, total costing, pricing distribution. I also undertake costing for shop & field piping fabrication & installation works for private Clients like Tecnimont, GS, Hyundai, L&T etc. A recent award from Tecnimont for Borouge-4 Shutdown works happened for construction works.
I was associated with Al Asab Contracting in Tendering Department as a Tendering Manager. I lead a team of discipline engineers to meet the bid submission deadlines. Performed competition and risk evaluation for bids. Advising management over prospects and suitability of attending specific tenders. Performing final evaluation of commercial bid value. Performing complete techno-commercial tender submission against RFPs from Oil and Gas majors like ADCO, GASCO, Takreer, GAZPROM, SOC, Lukoil, Petronas etc. Preparation of the complete technical tender including Execution Method statements, Manpower and Equipment bar charting, Organization Chart, schedule of subcontractors, identification of long lead items. Performing site visits. Listing & quantification of Procurement items. Floating the RFQs to approved vendors. Expediting quotations. Technical & commercial bid evaluation and preparation of comparatives. Costing of Manpower, equipment, and consumables. Raising TQs for scope clarification. Addressing Client clarification meetings and project presentations. Providing technical inputs for Planning and Scheduling. Attending Kick-offs during award. Raising Extra-claims. Company pre-qualification with Clients.

I was associated with Fernas Constructions India Pvt. Ltd as Assistant Manager (Projects and Estimation). Tendered and worked for an International EPC project in Bangladesh related to installation of 30” natural gas pipeline connecting launcher and receiver stations. Simultaneously worked for another EPC project for Gujarat State Petronet Limited for installation of Gas Compressor station at Gana, Ahmedabad. Scope of work involved Project Management, Engineering Management; Construction Coordination, Pursuance of Weekly and Monthly targets of Engineering, Construction and Procurement, attending Progress Review Meetings and preparing Action-Taken reports, complete Engineering documentation, Expediting the approval, Monitoring of engineering progress, Review of vendor documents like pressure vessels (Water bath Heater, KO Drum, Pressure Regulating Skid, Condensate Tanks, Metering Skids), valves, other piping items, confirming Piping Material Specification, approval of vendor/supplier by client, approval of engineering documents, vendor management, expediting the work, coordination with site. Coordinate between detailed engineering contractor, PMC and Client.
Worked with Avinash EM Projects Pvt. Ltd. as Project Engineer serving not only project execution but also estimation & procurement disciplines too. I have worked on GAIL-Meerut project (Installation of 10” Spur Line27Kms) as a Project Engineer having EIL as consultant. Procured various Mechanical items including Pipes, Fittings, Flanges, Nut-bolts, Fasteners etc. I also have worked on GAIL-Gwalior project (Installation of 10” Spur Line11Kms) as a Project Engineer having JP Kenny as PMC. Also, worked on GAILVKPL (Installation of 12” & 16” Spur Lines) again having EIL as consultant and GAILSHDPL (Installation of 16”and 18” Lines) having MECON as the consultant. I did the bidding for the above-mentioned projects and post award I executed them as well including procuring the mechanical items along with getting the approval of the vendors and doing the Engineering documentation. Resolving the technical issues if any, regarding the international Codes and Standards like API, ASME, ISO etc. Review of the MTCs and test reports. I prepared the WPS and EQT as & when required. I also witnessed the destructive testing of test welds. I made sure that construction is done as per the approved GAD. Also, I did the commissioning work of the Pipeline system. I did the complete Mechanical documentation of the project.
I was associated with Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Co., Kuwait as a Piping Construction Engineer in Oil & Gas Division. Worked for the client KOC (Kuwait Oil Company) for the project - “Installation of Air-Assisted Smokeless Flares at GC-17, 27, 28, BS-170 and Installation of Liquid-Separator.” I worked as a Project Engineer with the responsibility of Engineering approvals and Construction-installation of Flare-stacks, Flare-lines, and pipe-support structures along with the testing and installation of the same. Approval of the Engineering documents was also done by me. Also, I coordinated the NDT works at site. Jobs completed under my responsibility were like Heat-Tracing, Hot-Tapping, Split-Tee installation, Piping and PWHT work and heavy equipment installation. The whole Liquid-Separator Plant was laid down under my supervision. All the sites are now running successfully.
July, 2007 to Jan, 2008 associated with Dee Development Engineers Pvt. Limited, Haryana, India. I worked as an Engineer-Trainee. My job was fabrication and testing of the piping skids. Coordinating with the fabrication & the inspection teams.
I completed my 4 years Mechanical Engineering Degree course in 2007 with major subjects as Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Strength of Materials, Mechanics of Solids, Material Science, CAD and CAM.
