Responsible for reporting, planning and risk management for the $3 Billion Doha Metro
Red Line South project, delivering a modem metro system critical to Qatar's infrastructure
development.
- Developed and implemented the project reporting processes, systems and databases to
deliver high quality, meaningful information to the project team.
- Developed automated reporting solutions that have enhanced the effectiveness of a
lean team using standard office products to produce professional quality reports
- Lead best practices for reporting, lessons learned and performance management
throughout the project
- Lead the risk management practices through critical phases of the project
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Project Master Schedule, 12 Week & 5 Week Look Ahead Schedules, tracked
actual construction progress against planned using Earned Value Analysis and Key
performance indices (KPI’s), identified potential slippages and proposed steps to avoid /
mitigate delays
Estimation, planning (Front end loading) and monitoring of resources including labour
(detailed manpower schedules for Site and office) & non labour (Machinery) using
productivity norms for ensuring effective utilization of time & cost
- Maintain Risk register, critical issue log and devise mitigation measures for different risk
based upon impact score using ARM
- Author Monthly, Weekly and Daily Reports for construction activities with all details of
project status, financial status, KPI’s, activity floats, critical activities identifications etc
- Review and monitor subcontractor planning, look ahead schedule and the status of
subcontractor’s log such as MARs, RFIs, NCRs and WIRs.
- Monitor subcontractor submissions on shop drawings, method statements, prequalifications
and materials to ensure that these items will not delay the site works and
the Project Contract Completion date.
- Monitor, review and verify the subcontractor’s Technical submittal schedule of method
statement & risk assessment (RAMS), shop drawings, materials, samples, etc.
- Work hand in hand with cost control dept. and procurement dept. for ensuring effective
cash flow and timely supply of materials
- Assisting the Commercial team on the assessment of Contractor’s Payment Applications.
- Preparation of correspondences and responses regarding Contractor’s delays
- Coordination with the Contracts and Commercial team for any issues and submissions
raised by the Contractor regarding claims on Scope Variations and Extension of Time
(EOT).
