1- Conduct periodic reviews and updates for different security areas SRM reports, security plans including contingency plans, related documents and policies on annual basis in collaboration with MINUSMA security GFM unit. 2- Assisted security planning unit in updating and reviewing security policies and plans of Super Camp take part of drafting SOPs, security assessments, and participate in implementation follow up in the field; 3- Conduct security assessments including SRM ad-hoc, PSRAs, concept of operations for specific UN activities such as high profile visits, and submit paperwork drafts to UNDSS DCSA for review; 4- Attend coordination meetings such as SMT, ASMT, Security cell, administration, mission planning, and humanitarian
Security GFM Related actions 1. Supervising and controlling the entry of staff member, visitors, and VIPs at MINUSMA premise 2. Ensure effective accident\ incident prevention programs for protection of UN property and staff 3. Maintain regular supervision and guidance to security guards and ensure high level performance of work within the GFM unit 4. Conduct periodic checks over the guard force deployment to ensure physical presence at assigned posts Success Criteria:: 1. UN rules and regulation are enforced by more than 90% of staff member. 2. LSA and guards are aware of their responsibilities when on duty. 3. Effective access control to the premises Good team spirit was built among GFMs LSA
- Conduct Security plans and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the Presidential Palace. This involving conducting risk assessments, establishing access control measures, and implementing surveillance technologies.
-Coordinating with law enforcement agencies, collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and other government entities to enhance security measures.
-Establish effective communication channels and exchange intelligence information to mitigate potential threats.
-Implementing technological security systems
-Identify and deploy appropriate security technologies, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and biometric identification systems, to enhance security measures.
a) Ensure the security and confidentiality of personal information. b) Protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such information c) Protect against unauthorized access to or use of such information in a manner that creates a substantial risk of identity theft or fraud. d)Protection against internal and external Physical risks. e) protection of the personal ambassadors f) Prepare periodical security risk assessment for the facility and the personnel. g)Act as principal adviser to the Divisions Director on all matters pertaining to administrative and technical support on the regional office. h) Ensure provision of guidance, performance evaluation, supervision and mentoring to all administrative support and other staff, however officers, Police agents or Civilian Employers.
C:ontribute to the implementation of the duty regulations by providing the necessary managerial, logistical and administrative support required for the fulfillment of the Police Regulations including such areas as budget, finance, logistics, etc. 2.Plan, organize, implement, manage and oversee the activities of all administrative support operations. 3.Represent Cairo Security protection department administration division at all meetings, protocol and ceremonial occasions, etc. 4.Act as principal & legal adviser to Cairo Security protection department commander on all matters pertaining to administrative and technical support. 5.Liaise, negotiate and coordinate with different governmental authorities with respect to administrative and logistical matters.
Under direct supervision of CP Division Head of Security I was responsible for: 1. Assist in preparing PSRA (Personal Security risk assessment) for each VIP mission. 2. Assist in preparing MSRA for each VIP mission/movements within AOR. 3. Develop and recommend different feasible risk management strategies in light of assessed risk level 4. Maintain reviews and updates on MOSS compliance for different security entities venues including missions implementation premises. 5. Act as main Security focal point for CP team members operating in the division;
1. Ensure proper functioning of the Personnel Sections of the MONUSCO FPUs as part of mission security component. 2. Coordination and participation in elaboration of the documents regarding FPU administration issues. 3. Monitor and advise the FPU in terms of administration and personnel procedures. 4. Coordination and performing In-Mission training, Provisional and Final Inspection for FPU. 5. Liaise with MONSUCO ADMIN OFFS in order to provide necessary Admin support to FPUs during their ops deployment within DRC. 6. Render efficient the FPUs by keeping their awareness of meeting UN regulations on personnel and administration. 7. Elaboration of the necessary documents to regulate the rights and obligations of FPU personnel. 8. To consolidate the collaboration of FPU with MONSUCO CIVPOL FPU Liaison Officers and local MONSUCO authorities. 9. Advice the FPUs on fundamental working procedures
Under the direct supervision of Cairo Security protection Regional Commander I was responsible for: 1-Provide logistics support concepts and plans in close coordination with other police components in Cairo region and police Headquarters. 2-Coordinate, task and monitor logistic support to Cairo police Components and Coordinate of cross cutting support for various sections/services on behalf of Cairo Police regional commander. 3-Perform plans, coordination and direct supervision (if required) of the logistics projects and maintain close liaison with relevant Section Chiefs with regard to these projects. 4-Maintain an overall understanding of logistics capability available in Cairo, including other police components. 5- Review logistics plans pertaining to redeployment plans and or downsizing exercises 6- Plan and coordinates close protection operational plans.
1. Oversee Security Personal Protection Unit in accordance with Police Division personal protection SOPs. 2. Collect, Collate and analyze Security information related to CP missions and prepare threat and risk assessments in collaboration with other concerned units as appropriate. 3. Plan, exercise and review courses of action in conjunction with the assessed threat scenarios and risk level. 4. Coordinates and conduct operational rehearsals in accordance with procedures and best practice guidelines. 5. Plan and conduct regular training sessions for CP Teams in AoR in frame of Annual Security training plan. 6. Establish and deploy tactically trained Security personal protection teams with adequate capacity to meet the assessed risk level.
Under direct supervision of Formed Police Unit Commander I was responsible for: 1. Provide Security logistics support and planning approaches in close coordination with other police components serving under in Cairo region and police Headquarters. 2. Coordinate, task and monitor logistics support undertaken for Cairo police Components and Coordinate of cross cutting support for various sections/Security services on behalf of Police regional commander. 3. Develop Security plans, coordination and direct oversee (if required) to Security logistics operations. 4. Maintain close liaison with relevant Section Chiefs with regard to Security supporting operations. 5. Maintain an overall assessment of available logistics capability in Cairo, including other police components. 6. Review logistics plans pertaining to redeployment and or staffing exercises as appropriate. 7. Conduct other security duties as required.
