Role and Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Top Management in the Organization’s roles and responsibilities definition, for what
concerns safety aspects.
• Supporting the Top Management in the H&S Management System standard issue.
• Assisting the Commercial, Engineering, and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
• Conducting safety audits, both internal and external.
• Developing and implementing an Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Participating in the Natural Hazard Risk Assessment process and supporting the Technical Team in implementing HNRA Mitigation Measures.
• Taking part in accident/incident investigation.
• Carrying out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identifying trends, and suggesting improvement plans;
• Motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel, respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and providing Safety equipment.
• Monitoring the effective implementation of appropriate Health and Safety System procedures and providing for their updating in line with Legislation and Company directive changes.
• Participating in weekly progress meetings with ER & Contractor and raising H&S-related issues for further proactive actions and improvements.
• Carrying out any internal training.
• Weekly / Monthly reporting.
To supervise project civil contractors in health and safety issues, monitor HSE performance, and
conduct audits and inspections. Responsible for implementing the health, safety, security,
environment, and social performance management systems by the civil construction contractors
and ensuring they are duly certified to ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
* Preparation of detailed HSSESP plan. On behalf of the Client, provide a high standard of HSSESP
maintained by the contractors, their subcontractors, and other parties working on the Project and
follow local regulations and international best practices.
* Review, approve, and follow up on contractors' HSSESP management system and plans,
including assessing their effectiveness and periodically implementing updates.
* Organize periodical safety walks with all concerned parties to enhance the safety awareness of
management personnel and working staff.
* Ensure proper recording of HSE indicators/KPIs and safe man hours achieved by contractors and
prepare monthly HSE reports for the Client and PMC management.
* Monitor contractors' day-to-day construction activities at the site from the viewpoint of HSSESP
and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) requesting improvement once a non-conformance
exists.
* Encourage near-miss incident reporting by all persons on site.
* Helping and consulting the Contractor to develop and implement HSE training and awareness
improvements in his site teams.
* Chair HSSE meetings with the Contractor and attend all progress and project risk review
meetings.
* Review contractor's HSE procedures and method statements, to prepare DRF(Document Review
Form) with relevant status based on the review and submit to the contractor for further action.
* Support Project Management in the HSSE Management System standard implementation on
worksite.
Supporting of the Management in the Health, Safety and Security Management System aspects.
● Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Health, Safety, Security System
procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Global
Standards.
● Monitoring of the execution of requirements envisaged in the Health and Safety Plan, Security
Plan, Business Continuity Management Plan, etc.
● Motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying
with Company Global Standards, procedures and all provided Safety equipment.
● Conducting and facilitating Internal Trainings, HSE Meetings, Campaigns, VIP Visitors Inductions,
etc.
● Participating in the Hazard Risk Assessment process and supporting the Operations and Technical
Teams in the implementation of risk reduction measures in place.
● Developing and implementation of Emergency Preparedness Plan.
● Executing Business Continuity management coordinator duty in line with the Company BCM
commit rule.
● Interacts with the appropriate authorities, Coast Guard, Maritime Agency, Harbor Master, Police,
Environmental Protection Agencies, Healthcare Agencies and civil defense authorities.
● Ensures that HSSE department equipment is in good working order, tested and maintained
regularly, and that repairs are made timely and appropriately.
● Reviewing method statements and risk assessments. To monitor contractor HS system and
performance by conducting HS inspections and audits. Monitor Contractor H&S statistics and
trends. Monitor contractors' day to day construction activities. Issue non-conformance reports
(NCRs) requesting improvement once a non-conformance is found to exist. Encourage near miss
incident reporting by all persons on site. Participating on progress meetings with contractor.
● Managing Emergency Response Team.
● Executing duty of DG (Dangerous Goods Management) Coordinator.
● Conducting Health and Safety and Security Audits and inspections, actively supporting and
cooperating with external audit teams and leading improvement plans.
● Participate in accident / incident investigation.
● Carrie out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement
actions.
● Weekly / Monthly reporting.
Role and Responsibilities:
● Assisting the technical team with Issuing Permits to work and filling up Job Safety Analysis identifying hazards and controls with other department team supervisors.
● Attending toolbox talk meetings and facilitating discussions around safety topics.
● Participating in HSSE audits with other team members covering port and lease organizations.
● Conducting HSSE inspections, including leases and contractor activities.
● Prepare HSSE inspection reports and submit them to the Head of HSSE.
● Prepare and deliver safety-related trainings to Operations and Technical teams.
● Arrange weekly and monthly safety meetings with contractors and leases.
● Ensure Contractor H&S statistics are accurately reported and recorded;
● Monitor Contractor H&S statistics and trends;
● Facilitate monthly safety committee meetings and prepare relevant minutes of meetings.
● Taking the lead role in emergency cases and cooperating with other state emergency and law enforcement agencies.
● Leading incident investigations and providing root cause specialist advice.
● Participate in the task risk assessment process;
● Daily, Weekly & Monthly (Preparing presentations in PowerPoint) Reporting
Role and Responsibilities:
● Assisting Port Security Officer in day-to-day activities.
● Supervise Port entry pass and CCTV system performance.
● Review and update the Port security plan and relevant security procedures.
● Review, assess, and, if required, initiate changes in Port emergency preparedness.
● Plan and facilitate security and emergency drills, prepare reports and submit them to the PSO (Port Security Officer).
● Coordinate with law enforcement agencies regarding security and emergency at the Port.
● Monitoring incoming vessels' compliance with ISPS(International Ships and Ports Security) Code requirements.
● Participating in Port Security Assessment by USCG (United States Coast Guard).
● Authorizing gate entry passes to the port premises.
● Participating in Port Security Audit fulfilled by Maritime Transport Agency Security Division.
● Arranging and facilitating Port Security Committee twice a year. Preparing minutes of meetings and sharing them with relevant state and internal organizations.
Role and Responsibilities:
● Monitoring of day-to-day activity of watchman group shifts to protect berthed vessels.
● Maintaining continuous communication with berthed vessel security responsible persons.
● Coordinate watchman group activities with the coast guard and other law enforcement agencies.
● Prepare daily and monthly reports and submit them to Port Security Officer.
● Initiate and facilitate joint security drills with vessel crews as per ISPS Code part A requirements.
● Coordinate with other groups(CCTV and Patrolling) of the Port Security division and conduct random checks on nearby vessel mooring areas.
● Supporting Port Security Officer with preparing security minutes on meetings.
● Maintaining equipment on the balance of the watchman group in good working order, tested and maintained regularly, and ensuring that repairs were completed timely and appropriately.
Role and Responsibilities:
● Leading shift employees to perform assigned tasks on various checkpoints and the perimeter.
● Coordinating shift activities with law enforcement agencies and shift teams within the Port area.
● Assisting emergency team and launching evacuation if necessary.
● Arranging patrolling groups and monitoring security within the Port premises.
● Conducting random checks to identify possible entry pass system violators.
● Detaining trespassers and conveying them to Coast Guard for further action.
● Arranging random checkpoints to protect different types of valuable cargo.
● Preparing shift reports for the Head of Security Service.
Role and Responsibilities:
● Assisting shift supervisor in performing shift activities.
● Coordinating shift activities with law enforcement agencies and shift teams within the Port area.
● Assisting emergency team and launching evacuation if necessary.
● Arranging patrolling groups and monitoring security within the Port premises.
● Conducting random checks to identify possible entry pass system violators.
● Detaining trespassers and conveying them to Coast Guard for further action.
● Arranging random checkpoints to protect different types of valuable cargo.
● Acting as a shift supervisor in case of the absence of a shift supervisor.
● Managing shift members' vacations and sick leaves.
