• Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day to day operations.
• Supervises planned and unplanned maintenance activities performed by the subordinates and contractors.
• Identify potential opportunities to increase the workshop revenue and manage the development
of the new system.
• Time Motion study to measure & improve workshop productivity and service processes lines.
• Verify the required spare parts, repair procedure& labor charge with the workshop team leader
& Job controller.
• Contact customer for explanation of the technical root cause of the vehicle concern & how it will be fixed & Conduct price negotiations.
• Follow upon the work-in-progress and regular update to the customers.
• Ensure that final inspection & Quality Test has been carried out.
• Follow up customers to obtain feedback and ensure they are satisfied with received service & highest Customer Satisfaction.
• Schedules service appointments and verify Customer Details & vehicle information in order to confirm the appointment.
• Greets customers at the reception area, Guide customer to my desk & offer the Customer a drink.
• Conduct vehicle health check by checking all the vehicle systems are functionally working and checking vehicle body free from any scratches or damage by taking photos and attached with the Repair Order to be signed by the customer.
• Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customer's Concerns & description of symptoms.
• Perform Customer Vehicle Road test in case if there is any noise concern or up normal operation happened while driving customer to confirm the customer concerns.
• Checking vehicle from underneath at the pre check interactive reception for suspension Condition, any oil leakage or coolant in front of the customer by taking photos and attached to the Repair Order to be sure from the vehicle condition & build a strong trust bond with the customer.
• Ensuring that customer concerns are recorded properly so that the Technician can fix it Right at First Time.
• Issue Vehicle induction report (Repair Order) & related work order after review the vehicle maintenance History.
• Advice customer if there is any periodic service that should be done while performing the inspection & maintenance process, not only service to be recommended but also upselling car care products like Fuel injectors Cleaner, Engine Flushing to be done while performing service or any maintenance issue related to the customer concern.
• Conduct fault identification IAW customer input & develop the work scope required including Parts & Labor Cost estimation.
• Perform pre wheel alignment check to check the vehicle wheel alignment condition by receiving a pre wheel alignment check report from my team leader in case of the vehicle need alignment I inform the customer by phone & take approval to perform wheel alignment.
Communicate with the after sales manager to develop strategies to ensure dealers understand the need for upgrading their facilities.
