Contract between Areva (the customer) and TVO (the client)
Scope of contract: Areva's Painting Department is responsible of executing nuclear epoxy painting works (mineral and metallic) for completion of each room in all buildings. After a room is completely painted cleaning works should be done for handing over the room to the client. After the reception maintenance cleaning should be assured by Areva's Cleaning Department

Roles & Responsibilities:

• I was assigned the task of following the Painting and Cleaning Department activity and analyzing their productivity compared with the desired KPIs
• Created follow-up tools for both painting and cleaning activities
• Created cost follow-up file for painting and cleaning contract
• Constantly monitoring and updating the cost follow-up file for a more accurate forecast of the budget
• Presenting my detailed activity reports to the Contract Manager with the results of my monitoring and analyses during our weekly activity status meeting
• Keeping track of daily completion of the follow-up tools by the site coordinators
• Verifying and confirming the timesheets for the subcontractors painters and cleaners (aprox. 270 men) for invoicing

Project: Maintenance Contract between Stizo Nuclear and Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant (thermal insulation of pipes and equipments of the plant, hydro insulation of the buildings of the plant, epoxy resin based coatings for different tanks, equipments, floors, walls, fire protection systems)

Roles & Responsibilities:

•Daily direct reports to the CEO on the follow-up of the work done on the previous day.
•Keeping under review the progress of daily work.
•Responsible for the settlements for the works executed on a monthly basis.
•Receiving the work reports from the site for each work order from the work permit holder which was in charge with the execution of the work
•Asking for confirmation from the QS that the reports are according to reality in the site in order to start processing the data. Many times the verification and the measurements on the site are done by me as well because the company only has one QS and the area to cover is wide.
•If the quantities are confirmed by the QS I start processing the data from the reports and create the payment situations
•I attach the quality of the work papers from the QC for each work order and hand the work reports along with the payment situations to the Beneficiary’s Contract Supervisor
•Discussing with the Contract Supervisor over the eventually comments/questions
•After the contract supervisor gives his OK and signs the work reports and the payment situations I attach the invoices of the materials used on each work and send the file further on to the Beneficiary’s Financial Department.
•Making “Out of Contract” tenders for works that are not the object of the current Maintenance Contract or refer to buildings outside the Nuclear Plant’s perimeter.
•Preparation of the eligibility documentation, both technical and financial proposal for numerous Romanian National Public E-procurement Tenders.
•Monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks within the organisation in a technical support role. Offering support for other employees / colleagues for matters such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues. (IT Support / Helpdesk)

Project: Reactor Building Leaking Rate Test

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Inspecting the reactor building’s perimeter wall in order to identify the leaks at different values of the inside reactor pressure (42 kPa, 84 kPa, 124 kPA)
•Advising and warning the other members of the team of the hazards that could appear on the inspection through a briefing: making sure they wear their safety equipment for climbing at height (approx. 38 m), not to forget their protection equipment for accessing a radiation zone (the reactor building), to be prepared for accessing an under pressure room (the reactor building was progressively pumped with air so that the cracks and leaks could be revealed), safety and environmental conditions of the site, according to the HSE standards daily for nuclear activities mainly.
•Inspecting the reactor building to observe eventual cracks in the liner at different values of the pressure (42 kPa, 84 kPA, 124 kPA)
•After the cracks in the perimeter wall were identified, we organized the injection team, established which man will do the injections and which one will help preparing the surfaces to be injected, established the shifts, prepared the materials and started the injection with Concresive resin
•At the end of each day I prepared work reports (for the day shift), bill of quantities and survey reports.
•Attend in meetings with the Vector Construction Canada members (they were the specialists in the injection process that the nuclear plant favored and my company had to subcontract two of their man, one on each shift, to assist us with the injections) and beneficiary for the quantities, accuracy verifications and quality check of the works, obtaining hazard information when needed to enter inside reactor building.
