• Performing assignments involving the execution, supervision & coordination of all
aspects of the project
• Ensuring all project specifications & standards (work progress, project quality
plan, Inspection test plans, HSE standards, method statements) are followed.
• Monitoring the timely material procurements & deliveries by the contractor also
ensuring that the materials meet specifications and the required quality
standards for the project.
• Reviewing of completed works for conformance to the contract documents.
• Review of daily, weekly & monthly reports (including work progress, quality & safety).
• Random sampling & review of work inspection requests approved or disapproved
by the supervising consultant.
• Overseeing the construction engineering works and providing technical expertise.
• Communicating and reporting to the construction manager about construction progress
updates, pending issues, issued for construction drawings & recommendations.
• Performing daily random Quality inspection site visits on the contractor.
• Performing daily random Health safety & environment inspection site visits on the
contractor.
• Collaborating with the management to eliminate any hazards associated with the
work that may impact the environment or health & safety of labors/ employees.
• Follow up on safety violations prepared by the regional safety engineer and
coordinate with contractor, consultant & PM regional team.
• Follow up on quality findings and issues and coordinate with contractor,
consultant & PM regional team
• Joint meetings with the contractor & consultant for general follow-up of same day/
next day activities.
• Assessing the project challenges/key issues and potential risks & provide
feedback to regional & core team.
• Periodic witnessing of on-site tests like Concrete tests, Field density tests, Plate
load tests.
• Attend weekly meetings chaired by the regional construction engineer.
• Participating every month with the contractor and supervision consultant in
preparing & approving construction progress percen

Job Role:
1. Ensuring that the approved Project Quality Plan is
implemented on the project.
2. Following concrete strength tests & updating the test
results on the excel sheet; Following the Soil
compaction tests & updating the test results on the
excel sheet
3. Preparation & Submission of Daily Report to the
on-site consultant
4. Following up the NCR & Site work instructions and
implementing for the agreed closure of NCR
with Consultant
5. Ensuring that inspection requests (I.R) are
implemented.
6. Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the
contract requirements.
7.Ensuring that work carried out on site is in
accordance with the latest approved documents e.g.
drawings, method statement, QA/QC procedures
8. Coordinate with all relevant departments with
connection with Quality issues.
9. Ensuring all the required inspections & laboratory
testing procedures are carried out according to
required specifications & ASTM standards.
