Responsible to manage every operation for the Oncology Department and communicate it to the management to do the needful.

ACTS AS SHIFT COORDINATOR AS REQUIRED
Responsible for the supervision and teaching of nurses in the development of clinical nursing skills and in particular Pre-DION (Diploma in Oncology Nursing) and DION Phase
Responsible to assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating care to a high standard for patients and their families
Maintains confidentiality of patients, relatives and staff issues at all times
Develops self-sufficiency in administrative work and teaching work
Participate in audits, studies and research as required designed to enhance quality patient care
Maintain own professional expertise by regular updating of knowledge and skills through specific workshops, study or attendance study days
Maintain professional expertise by regular updating of knowledge and skills through specific workshops or study
Work collaboratively with the clinical nurse managers and senior nurses
Communicate effectively with all departments within the hospital
Responsible for doing chemo administration and handling workshop and competence of nurses working in chemo /Radiation Adult/Paeds
Responsible for looking over the departmental managerial matters in the absence of Clinical Nurse Manager
