Responsible for reviewing documents at various phases in accordance with projects plans, approved by LEED (Green Building), KHARAMAA, CDD, specs & other supporting documents for the successful completion of the project works. Preparation of concept sketches based on the client requirements, site condition and local building regulations. Interfacing and co-ordination between consultants and contractors from Architectural (Interiors), Structural Mechanical, Electrical and all other concerned on a regular basis.

Make sure that any activity offered for inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).Carry out all planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant ITP.All site inspection shall be carried out vide an official Inspection and Test request (ITR) submitted by the CONTRACTOR through the proper channels.
Inspection status shall be recorded in the ITR and any relevant check sheet as per the approved QCP. Any outstanding items shall be verified prior to closing the ITR. In the event that CONTRACTOR excludes an item from an ITR, the item will be dealt with/inspected utilising the ITR from which the item was excluded.Verify with Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) that all relevant test results related to specific ITR meets the project requirements. In the event he notices that the relevant Shop Drawing, materials used, MS, QCP and ITP do not cover all specification requirements, report the same in writing to the Construction Manager and the Senior Discipline Engineer. Copy of such report shall be forwarded to COMPANY project manager.Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Senior Structural Engineer/ Construction Manager.Make sure that all materials used comply with the approved Material Approval Request (MAR).Make sure that the CONTRACTOR’s personnel are using the latest edition of the approved shop drawings, MS, QCP and ITP as per the project master index closely monitor concrete pours and check continuously concrete materials delivered to site, ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, and ensure all concrete tests are carried out as per contract requirements.Frequently check formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met.

Served as a site architect responsible for inspections of site conditions and construction suitability prior to commencing of work including verification of site compatibility with the design permanent works. Checking obstructions and fully documenting conditions of existing properties making sure that said properties are well protected from probable damage the construction might cause. Recognize and identify architectural quality, proposing advanced technical solutions to make work cost and time effective. Performed, reviewed and evaluated materials being delivered to site for conformance with the approved samples and ensuring proper storage. Inspection of works, either temporary or permanent, made sure that all works complied with contract documents and approved shop drawings and submittals. Supervise site activities with involvement in the preparation of daily logs and reports, keeping track of all inspections made, tests performed and work executed making sure that all adheres to site safety practices. Performed all other duties delegated by the senior review architect.

• Serving as site representative in absence of senior architectural engineer and design manager, for all matters related to construction quality assurance of architectural and finishing works.

• Assisting with the final inspection of the work and reviewing the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists.
• Monitoring and controlling the day to day activities of the architectural inspectors i.e. site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in Contractors store.
• Ensuring that inspections are carried out in time and quality of installation and delivered materials is maintained as per the relevant specifications/ standards as well as relevant local Authority’s regulations/ requirements.
