- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimations for tender documents, after asking quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Study tender documents related to the project such as conditions of contract, design drawings, BOQ and specifications.
- Address queries, clarifications and discrepancies to the Engineer.
- Interface and coordinate with suppliers to ensure budgets received are reasonable and compliant with the Engineer’s requirements and technical approach.
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress of all aspects of MEP trades on site.
- Submit Material and Shop Drawing Submittals for approval.
- Attend weekly site meetings to ensure site progress and effective co-ordination between MEP related works and all other disciplines.
- Prepare and manage Planning, Monthly Reports, Progress Reports, Request for Information, Variation Order, Payment Certificates, and issue progress schedule to clients.
- Undertake inspections on site in accordance with the discipline related inspections and test plans (ITP's).
- Plan and manage budgets.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control.
- Oversee the analysis of data and information.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
- Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

- Drawings preparation for mechanical works: Design drawings (at tender phase), Shop drawings (at execution phase, and coordination with civil and architectural drawings), and As-Built drawings (at delivery phase).
- Quantity take-offs: Estimate all material quantities and the required resources. bill of quantities (BOQ) (at tender phase Preparing statements and measurement sheets.
- Preparation of Mechanical Engineering calculations: Cooling and heating load, fan's static pressure, duct, and pipe sizing, pump head calculations... Prepare & follow up material submittal, delivery & installation.
- Site supervision for foremen/supervisors/workers and follow up with their performance on all mechanical works.
- Plan and monitor construction site activities.
- Ensure that construction operations are running according to plan, specifications, and drawings.
- Inspection of ongoing construction activities & ensure execution is done to proper quality control.
- Following all phases of the work up to testing, commissioning & handing over.
- Drawings preparation for mechanical works: Shop drawings (at execution phase, and coordination with civil and architectural drawings).
- Preparation of Mechanical Engineering calculations: Cooling and heating load, fan's static pressure, duct and pipe sizing, pump head calculations... Prepare & follow up material submittal, delivery & installation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPIONS:
-Mechanical design drawings, bill of quantities (BOQ) for HVAC systems, water distribution, and drainage systems.
-Preparing mechanical shop drawings including all trades and composite drawings in coordination with civil architectural and electrical drawings for execution, in addition to as built drawings.
-Mechanical Engineering calculations: Cooling and heating load, fan's static pressure, duct and pipe sizing, pump head calculations...
-Prepare & follow up material submittal, delivery & installation.
-Estimate all material quantity and the required resources.
-Procurement and quality control.
