Mr. Pilapil reports directly to the Design Manager.
He leads in the development of design drawings from Schematics to Detailed Design and IFC Package. Coordinates with other Design team leads to ensure a well-coordinated design drawings and contract documents. Acts as independent QA/QC reviewer to assure that the final drawing package are in-line with project requirements and set criteria.
As a Senior Architect, he acts as the lead head amongst other team leads, responsible for
coordination and execution of the project in line with the contract milestone.
He conducts QA/QC review of the IFC packages and prepares project proposals. He conducts coordination meeting with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.
He conducts design review and approves shop drawings, MDS, RFI's submitted by the design consultants / contractor. He coordinates with affiliated consultants and formulates an effective work programme.
He conducts review and assessment of the Architectural Fire and Life Safety drawings to ensure
compliance with relevant NFPA codes and QCDD regulations. He prepares Architectural Fire Policy drawings for QCD submissions and approval. He has an advanced knowledge of the QCDD-FSS regulations and relevant NFPA Life Safety codes.
Attend meeting and liaise with QCD department for technical / Fire safety issues. Attend the Fire Safety Inspections with QCD inspection team and coordinate
with the project team for the resolution of issues raised by QCD.
Mr. Pilapil was responsible for the efficient management of the entire Design
and Production Department.
He directs, supervises and provides technical guidance and leadership in architectural personnel. He coordinates with affiliated consultants and formulates an effective work programme.
In conjunction with the General Manager, he lead the effort to keep the Company current in state of the art
architectural technology and theory.
Mr. Pilapil was responsible for the development of manpower projections, project development schedules, and complete work plans, identifying and managing risks issues of project.
He leads the preparation of conceptual designs, studies, technical documents, including drawings and specifications, assuring the project designs and drawings meet all quality standards required by the company and the client. He supports and improves the company’s marketing effort by assisting in the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients.
Mr. Pilapil reports to the Senior Resident Engineer.
He was responsible for the effective implementation of Contract drawings at site in conformity with the approved mock-up samples. He conducts daily site
inspections to ensure proper adherence to the contract drawings & specifications. He review and approve shop drawings, As-built drawings, Material Certificate & RFI’s. He prepares accurate records / monitoring of weekly progress report based on the actual accomplishment of the project.
He issue Non-conformance Notices to the contractor. Attend to Variation Orders initiated by Client. Strictly monitor daily site activities and suggests practical construction methodology. Implement and maintain a co-ordinate and consistent filing system. Attend regular QA / Technical meeting with the contractor’s representatives.
As a Site Architect, Mr. Pilapil was responsible for the implementation of effective monitoring of construction activities in conformity with the Contract Drawings. He conducts daily site inspections of the project to ensure proper adherence to the contract drawings & specifications. He review and approve shop drawings, Method of Statements, Material Delivery Notes & RFI’s.
He prepares accurate records / monitoring of weekly progress report based on the actual accomplishment of the project. He issue Non-conformance Notices to the contractor. Mr. Pilapil was responsible for the effective execution of the project ensures direct, effective and timely
communication of responses to request and important information to the Head of Department, Project
Manager and other Engineers. He was responsible for the preparation and execution of project proposals.
Implement and maintain a co-ordinate and consistent filing system, participate in quality audits in cooperation
with the Quality Manager and Lead Engineer, act as Quality Engineer when requested. Ensure adherence to
the Scope of Work and Design Criteria Report, identify variations in timely manner, participate in meetings
with the Project Manager, Client and third parties to communicate and clarify interfaces, requests, decisions,
approvals, proposals, status, responses, etc.
Associated Designers & Technical Advisor Incorporated
Mr. Pilapil reports directly to the General Manager. He was responsible in overlooking the proper
management of the Architectural department, conduct conferences and consultation with prospective clients
to determine their project requirements. He prepares conceptual and schematic plans and work programs,
man-hour schedule and project milestones. Attends and represents the company over public bidding
Report directly to Project Manager. He is responsible in monitoring the actual project implementation procedures to ensure full compliance to contract documents and examine quality of workmanship. Produce detailed construction drawings. Attend the regular coordination meeting with the construction team and responds to site queries and RFI’s. Review and approves alternative building materials. Prepares and submit site accomplishment report and progress photographs and recommend alternate construction method and procedures.
